Method for water content determination in oil products

FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: at first sample of tested oil product with fixed volume is passed through water-coagulating agent placed between turns of a flat spiral mounted in a cavity of the element having shape of a truncated cone. When the sample is passed along the spiral the time for coagulation of free water microdrops in the sample is extended. Then the sample of the tested oil product is passed through a filter membrane with a deposited layer of water-sensitive chemical agent. At that by means of the hollow element having shape of a truncated cone this sample is localised at the surface of this water-sensitive chemical agent and water availability or concentration is evaluated by its colour changing. Additionally water concentration in the sample of the tested oil product is evaluated against decrease of the sample fixed volume before the water-sensitive chemical agent changes its colour.

EFFECT: improved accuracy of the analysis.

The invention relates to the field of quality control of petroleum products, in particular, determining the content and concentration of water in petroleum products, including for Express control of fuels and lubricants.

The known method of determining water content in petroleum products by the patent RF №2350256, publ. 10.05.2012 designed to determine the mass of water in the oil. According to this method, first through the layer of odocoileuus material and a layer of bulk water-absorbing material passed the test of an oil that does not contain water, then used volumetric water absorbing material is weighed and this weight is taken for reference. To determine the water content in a similar study product use volumetric water absorbing material of identical dimensions and the test is taken the same extent as the reference. After transmission of the sample studied oil through volumetric water absorbing material, the latter is weighed, and the resulting mass is compared with the reference. However, this method cannot detect the presence of water microdrops at lower concentrations in the studied oil and hold the quick-control.

There is a method of determining the presence of water in oil in RF patent No. 2350946, publ. 27.03.2009 designed for the Express control of the match set is built to the requirements of combustive-lubricating materials. According to the method, a sample of oil is passed through the indicator element that changes its color when the chemical interaction with water, and the colour change of the indicator element is judged on the presence of water in the sample oil, and a sample of oil fixed volume before passing it through the indicator element is subjected to coagulation, passing the sample through wodociagowy material. After coagulation of a sample of oil using a hollow truncated conical element localize on the surface of the indicator element, which caused photocosmetology chemical reagent. The outlet diameter of the conical element is chosen from the condition of occurrence of color stain chemical reagent indicator element when exceeding the maximum allowable quantities of water for a fixed sample volume specified oil. This is achieved by raising awareness of the definition. The method according to the patent of Russian Federation №2350946 is closest to the claimed and adopted for the prototype.

However, this method does not determine the level of water concentration in the oil. In addition, when small quantities of water content in the oil quick passing samples through wodociagowy material is insufficient for the consolidation of droplets contained in the oil. the CE this reduces the accuracy of the quality control of petroleum products.

The objective of the proposed method is to improve the accuracy of determining water content in the tested oil.

The technical result that allows to solve the problem is to identify the presence of water at low concentrations in the studied oil by increasing the time for coagulation of droplets of water.

The technical result aimed at solving the problem, is achieved as follows.

In common with the prototype is that the sample studied oil fixed volume is first subjected to coagulation by passing it through wodociagowy material, after coagulation of the sample studied oil using a hollow truncated conical element localize on the surface of the water-sensitive chemical reagent and change its color to judge the presence and concentration of water in the sample.

Unlike the prototype later after coagulation of the sample studied oil is passed through a membrane filter wall and photocosmetology chemical reagent is applied beforehand on the surface of the membrane filtering partition, while wodociagowy material placed between the turns of a flat spiral, which is established in the cavity of a truncated conical element, in addition on the concentration of water in the sample of the research is constituent of the oil is additionally judged by the reduction taken to the study of a fixed volume of sample until the color change water-sensitive chemical.

Thus, the present invention differs from the prototype in that way you can increase coagulation time, pumping the oil in a spiral through the layer odocoileuus material located in the cavity of a truncated cone, with which larger droplets of water are localized in a layer of water-sensitive reagent that changes color when hit on him, droplets of free water. Moreover, the inventive method allows to determine the concentration level of the water to reduce the volume of water passed through the membrane filter wall to change the color of the chemical reagent. All this increases the accuracy of the control.

The set of essential features that characterize the invention, are known sources of information not found. This confirms the novelty of the invention.

In the prior art there have been no methods for determining water content in the oil pumping him spiraling through the layer odocoileuus material located in the cavity of a truncated cone. Not identified and ways of transmission oil through the membrane filter wall covered with a layer of water-sensitive reagent that changes color when hit on him, droplets of free water. Therefore, the invention is not obvious from the prior art, and therefore, meets the criterion of "inventive step".

Further, the invention is illustrated in the drawing, which shows a device for implementing the proposed method of determining water content in petroleum products.

Determining the concentration of water in petroleum products is carried out using the device, which consists of measuring capacitance 1 (e.g., syringe), the drain of which is connected with the cavity of the truncated cone 2, which can be used drain funnel. In the funnel 2 is installed flat multiturn spiral 3. Between the turns of the spiral is placed a porous wodociagowy material 4 (for example, propresidential). The drain hole of the funnel 2, in turn, is connected with the detachable cartridge 5, in which the hard perforated septum posted by membrane filter wall 6, parity layer of water-sensitive reagent (for example, anhydrous copper sulfate).

The method is performed as follows.

In the process of analyzing a fixed volume of sample analyzed oil with a syringe 1 is sequentially pumped through the layer odocoileuus material 4 and the membrane filter wall 6. When pumping samples of oil through wodociagowy 4 material flow of oil moving along a flat spiral coils 3, which allows an increase in BP the two processes of coagulation of droplets of water, therefore, to detect the presence of water at a lower concentration in the analyzed sample. On the availability of water and its concentration (volume) in the analyzed sample are judged by the color change of the reagent is deposited on a membrane filter wall 6 and the volume of pumped oil until the color changes. This method can be used for the current analysis of the quality of petroleum products, and to conduct a quick inspection of petroleum products.

Method for determination of water content in petroleum products, according to which the sample studied oil fixed volume is first subjected to coagulation by passing it through wodociagowy material, after coagulation of the sample studied oil using a hollow truncated conical element localize on the surface of the water-sensitive chemical reagent and change its color to judge the presence and concentration of water in the sample, differentthe fact that later after coagulation of the sample studied oil is passed through a membrane filter wall and photocosmetology chemical reagent is applied beforehand on the surface of the membrane filtering partition, while wodociagowy material placed between the turns of a flat spiral, which is established in the cavity of a truncated cone e is amenta, in addition on the concentration of water in the sample studied oil is additionally judged by the reduction taken to the study of a fixed volume of sample until the color change water-sensitive chemical.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of inspecting explosive substances and forensic identification preparations. The method of labelling an explosive substance involves adding a labelling composition to the explosive substance, said composition containing identifiers, the number of which is equal to the number of properties to the labelled. The identifiers used are a mixture of polyorganosiloxanes with different molecular chain lengths, wherein each property matches an identifier in form of a polyorganosiloxane with a corresponding molecular chain length and corresponding "exit time" (retention) on a chromatogram. Thus a "chemical barcode" is formed in the explosive substance, which is read from the chromatrogram based on the principle of the presence or absence of a component at a certain time of its "exit" (retention). The method is suitable for labelling mixed and separate explosive substances, as well as components thereof, for example inorganic oxidants, particularly ammonia nitrate.
