SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device to drive transport facilities by human muscles. Axial ends of horizontal levers 12, 13 are rigidly connected with plane pinions 4, 5. Second stage is composed of gearing with gear 16 fixed at carrier rim 2 while gear 17 is fitted on drive axle 18 of one of vehicle actuators.

The objective is achieved due to the fact that in the inventive pedal drive with the first stage actuator is made of two planetary gears with the carrier and rigidly connected with the shaft of the carriage which is freely mounted on the protruding ends of the satellites, meshed with a gear ratio equal to one, with a sun gear units mounted concentric with the shaft of the carriage with two sides and is stationary relative to the vehicle body, and a pedal mounted on the radial ends of the horizontal levers, always directed forward, and the axial ends of the horizontal arms are rigidly connected with satellites, while the sludge produced in the form of discs and with the shaft of the carriage are the flywheel, and the second step is made gear wheel which is fixedly mounted on the rim of the carrier and the gear mounted on the drive axis of one of the actuators of the vehicle.

Use disk drove as flywheel is much easier pedaling, because the rotation when passing the dead point at the expense of the moment of inertia of the flywheel and it requires no additional effort cyclist and any special skills. Easier pedaling in the inventive actuator becomes possible the use of large along the length of the horizontal levers, which leads to an increase of the traction capability of the drive. The execution of the second-speed drive gear with a much larger gear ratio than used everywhere in the chain transmission, allows to obtain large coefficients of reduction without the use of multiple gears, which greatly increases the efficiency of a pedal drive.

Thus the claimed design meets the criteria of the invention of "novelty."

The comparison of the proposed solutions not only prototype, but also with other technical solutions in this field of technology is not allowed to reveal in them the features distinguishing the claimed solution to the prototype that is allows to make a conclusion on compliance with the criteria of the invention "significant differences".
