Welding gun for welding by metal electrode in atmosphere of active or inert gas

FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to welding guns for welding by metal electrode in atmosphere of active or inert gas. Gun comprises handle. Said handle has body 1 and stick 2. Stick 2 is arranged to turn relative to body 1 to extend partially through the length of said body. End of said stick may turn relative to body 1 through the distance that allows hand to be located between body 1 and stick 2 and body 1 to be located above hand. With stick end interacting with body 1, both stick and body make handle for hand.

EFFECT: ease of use.

The invention relates to the welding guns for welding a metal electrode in an environment of active or inert gas containing held in his hand the handle to hold the gun, manipulate and pointing it at welding, and the handle has a body and a handle, which is installed with the possibility of rotation relative to the housing and which when placing it along the body at least partially passes the same length as the body, in ensuring the possibility of turning the end of the handle relative to the body at such a distance that when the arm girth rotary knob arm is located between the housing and the rotary knob and the housing is located on top of the hands.

In patent publications WO 0234450 and US-4161643 described is similar to the pistol grip type, including the rotary knob. Such arm is not widely used because they are heavy and allow you to work in only one mode in which the hand is always under the body. Thus, the most widespread model in which there is no pistol grip protruding from the chassis, the chassis welding gun" works as a handle.

In such welding guns electrode and shielding gas passing axially through the handle along its entire length. The handle has untinen is in the form of knee, at the end of which is mounted welding head and the surrounding hood for shielding gas.

The main disadvantage of such welding guns is that when welding various welded joints of the hand may be in the wrong position and tired with the support of the welding gun. This leads to the fact that welders are prone to diseases of the neck and shoulders, and hands may develop tunnel syndrome or tendonitis.

In U.S. patent No. 6225599 described welding gun for welding in inert gas, the handle of which contains two arranged in series in the axial direction of the element, the angle between them is 20°. However, this device does not solve the problem, which is that when welding some welds, such as a ceiling corner seam, horizontal and vertical corner seam, the welding gun is necessary however to keep the hand in a slightly elevated position in which the arm is tired.

The purpose of this invention is an ergonomic welding gun for welding in the environment of active or inert gas, which allows you to change the position of the hands when performing different types of welded joints in such a way that, for example, when welding ceiling corner seam and horizontal welding vertical corner seam hand you can hold on to is soma low level in resting position, while the body of the arm rests on the arm from above, resulting in the hand does not get tired as when using currently available welding guns.

The purpose of the invention is achieved on the basis of the distinctive signs provided for in paragraph 1 of the claims. Preferred embodiments of the invention are represented in the dependent points of his formula.

The following is one version of the invention with reference to the attached drawing, which shows a side view of a welding gun for welding in the environment of active or inert gas according to this invention.

In the embodiment of the invention the welding gun includes housing 1 and the handle 2, which is installed with the possibility of rotation relative to the housing and which when placing it along the body at least partially passes the same length as the body. It is possible to rotate the end of the handle 2 relative to the housing 1 at such a distance that when the arm girth rotary knob 2 arm is located between the housing 1 and the handle 2 and the housing 1 in such working position is located on top of the hands. If the free end of the handle 2 is in the position in which he introduced in the interaction with the housing 1, the housing 1 and the rotary handle 2 together form a handle for gripping. In the depending on whether grabs whether the hand is assigned the handle 2, and a handle formed sided handle 2 and the housing 1, you can choose the best position for your hands when welding different types of connections.

In turning the handle 2 has a trigger 3, passing along the side of the handle facing the housing 1 and located at the end of the rotary knob 2, which is equipped with a swivel 4. Thus, in the embodiment of the invention, the handle 2 is directly attached swivel 4 to the end of the building, which is located closer to the nozzle of the welding gun. Single swivel 4 is the simplest and most effective solution. Practically it does not increase the price of the welding gun, however, instead of a simple swivel 4 you can also set a different mechanism, such as a combination of swivel and slider, with which the parts 1 and 2 can respectively be diluted relative to each other to place a hand between them when obhvatyvala handle 2 hand.

Turning the handle 2 also has a limiter 5 angle through which the rotation angle can be adjusted. To perform this adjustment may, for example, be provided by the wheel, placed in the handle 2. The angle of rotation of the handle 2 relative to the longitudinal axis of the housing 1 located is designed in the range from 30° to 75°, preferably from 40° to 60°. The angle may be less than if the mechanism for rotary movement, complemented by a slide mechanism.

Rotary knob 2 in the preferred embodiment of the invention has the shape of a trench, the size of which provide the possibility of setting them housing, whereby the housing 1 at least partially is located inside of the gutter.

In the drawing version of the housing 1 and the rotary knob 2 form a V-shaped fork, when the rotary knob 2 is taken away from the housing 1.
