FIELD: fire safety.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire suppression, namely, to methods for extinguishing fire with finely pulverised water and can be used for fighting fire on ships and water-crafts, as well as other important facilities.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of extinguishing fires due to improving the fire extinguishing properties of finely pulverised water by optimisation of its dispersion, is achieved by the fact that at pre-treatment of water with a constant magnetic field with strength of 40-45×103 A/m at a motion speed of stream of 0,4-0,5 m/s and with passing water through the proposed device with a voltage of a DC electric field of 30-50 V/mm, the uniformity of negatively charged water droplets of optimal size increases twice.

 

The invention relates to the field of fire, and in particular to methods of extinguishing fires finely pulverized water, and can be used for fighting fires on ships and vessels, and other objects.

Currently known methods of extinguishing fires finely pulverized water, which is supplied in the center of combustion of two-phase flow, consisting of gas and finely pulverized water. The water dispersion is achieved by the ejection of water flow in a supersonic gas flow and water flow through the openings in the mixing chamber into the high-speed gas stream.

Thus, the known method of operation of jet apparatus [1], which is to use the entraining action of supersonic gas jets supplied in two-stage gas-jet nozzles for dispersing drain fluid velocity gas stream.

Also known a method of creating a gas-droplet jet fluid [2] (the prototype), which includes the acceleration of the gas stream in the gas-dynamic nozzle, the flow in the gas stream during its acceleration dispersed fluid flow and acceleration in the nozzle formed of two-phase flow.

General disadvantages of such analogs are impossible to obtain uniform, high dispersion of water and a significant amount of compressed gas, comprising 40-0% of the mass flow rate of water.

As demonstrated by field tests on the order of "Lada", proposed to extinguish the fire in the volume method of extinguishing a fire finely pulverized water obtained by the method using an inkjet apparatus [1], ineffective even at a superficial method of extinguishing a fire, when applying the sprayed jet of water directly on the fire. These deficiencies not only allow the use of finely pulverized water for fire fighting volume method, but also reduce its fire-extinguishing efficiency even when extinguishing fire superficial way when applying directly to the fire, and that the same cause a significant increase in weight and size characteristics of the fire-extinguishing installations.

The objective of the invention is to increase the effectiveness of firefighting by improving the fire-extinguishing properties of the finely pulverized water by magnetic treatment, optimization of dispersion and electrostatic drops.

This task is achieved by the fact that when you obtain finely pulverized water by acceleration and turbulence in the flow due to torsion in a centrifugal atomizer, according to the invention, the flow of water is passed through a region of constant magnetic field. Under the influence of a magnetic field breaking the bonds between molecules and the structure of water, which causes a change in some physical water parameters, such as viscosity, heat of vaporization, surface tension, etc., positively influencing the process of extinguishing the flame. Minichannel the water flow is then fed into the body cavity of the nozzle and passes through the negative corona discharge, and water acquires a negative electric charge. The electrical charge increases elektroosmoticheskoe back pressure, which leads to the reduction of surface tension of water, thereby improving the disintegration of drops on the optimal size of the exit nozzle of the sprayer. Negatively charged water droplets are attracted to the positively charged flame front, which provides a more deeply what their penetration in the combustion zone.

All this leads to increased use of water droplets on the cooling of the combustion zone, the increase in the degree of dilution of the reactant vapors evaporated droplets and to improve the wettability of combustible materials, and consequently, to improve the fire extinguishing ability of the finely pulverized water.

The device includes a nozzle body 1 with the outlet (nozzle) having a diameter of 5 mm, which are installed swirl 2 with screw channels and a Central hole diameter of 2 mm, a positive electrode 3, a Central negative electrode 4, mounted in the spacer 5. Method of extinguishing a fire finely pulverized water is as follows.

From the cavity of the sleeve 6 manicina water is then fed into the nozzle body 1. Passing through the negative corona discharge generated by applying to the electrodes 5 and 6 high direct voltage, the flow of water acquires a negative electric charge, which reduces the surface tension of water.

Passing through the screw channels and the Central hole of the swirler 2, the flow of water acquires a rotational-translational motion. Having a high rotational and translational velocity, the flow of water at the exit of the nozzle body 1 is transformed into a cone-shaped jet of droplets, which goes directly to the fire.

Due to magnetised and acquisition of water negative charge increases the uniformity of dispersion of water droplets, the droplets become approximately equal to the diameter of 100-300 μm. Water droplets acquire a negative electric charge. This causes the increase of the rate of diffusion of water droplets in the positively charged area of the flame front, and, consequently, to improve the fire extinguishing ability of the finely pulverized water, which gives a significant reduction of its consumption.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire-fighting equipment, in particular to devices generating gas-aerosol mixture of inhibitors of burning, and is intended for volumetric extinguishing of fire in closed premises by hand throwing of the device into fire centre. Fire-fighting device of pulse action, equipped with fire-extinguishing powder and expelling charge, consists of placed one after another ignition and expelling compositions in given proportions of their components and weight ratios, equipped with powder sparger, brought into action from capsule of lighter "Zhevelo" by means of percussion-lock.

SUBSTANCE: plant comprises module with fire-extinguishing powder having partition installed along module body height. Partition serves as deflector and has concave shape. Orifices are formed along partition periphery. Plant has siphon tube with cuts oppositely formed at end thereof. Thermal jacket is connected to body portion. Container with gas-generation composition and heating member enclosed by insulation cup is arranged in body bottom.

EFFECT: possibility of extinguishing fire with the use of increased reliability and performance.
