FIELD: personal use articles.

SUBSTANCE: device to prevent falling of a person in case of ice-covered ground is intended for installation onto heel of winter shoes. Device represents a flexible metal strip, one of sides of which has thorns and support sites. Strip is bent according to heel shape and is fixed on the latter with the help of coupler screw. In working position the strip on heel looks like a bracket-horseshoe, thorns of which prevent skidding of shoes in process of walking on slippery surface. At the entrance to a room the bracket-horseshoe is turned manually by 180 degrees, and it occupies place in front of heel, thorns up, and therefore does not damage surface of floor.

EFFECT: invention provides for rigid adhesion of shoes with ice-covered surface, prevents slippage of shoes and therefore prevents falling of a person.

The present invention relates to an individual means of protection from falling in the ice and is intended for mounting on the heel winter shoes.

There are a large number of designs of anti-slip devices for mounting on the Shoe. Examples are patents Germany No. 877870, CL 716, 15/04 from 1953, patents in Germany, No. 9878, CL 716, 15/08 and # 19490, class. And 43,15/08 from 1929

The famous "winter horseshoes" (Newspaper "Arguments and Facts" No. 48, 2008, P.10). Horseshoe is made of elastic rubber, the bottom surfaces of which are small steel spikes. Front and back "horseshoe" is equipped with rubber hinges, by which it is attached at the toe and heel of the Shoe, situated on the supporting part of the sole. It is difficult to judge the effectiveness of this design, but antistaticity design is obvious. The need to wear the device on your shoes when going outside, and then be removed when entering the room makes this design in operation very unsuccessful.

The aim of the invention is a device devoid of the above disadvantages and which provides reliable operation and ease of operation combined with design flexibility for a wide range of sizes heels while maintaining the aesthetic appearance of the Shoe.

This objective is achieved in that the device is made in the form of metal the practical band with spikes and reference sites, parallel to the supporting surface of the heel, and the ends of the strips have holes for the clamping screw by which the device is mounted on the heel.

The device (1) consists of a flexible metal strip 1 with 2 spikes, reference sites 3, 4 holes and tightening screw 5 and nut 6.

When installing the unit on the heel strip 1 is bent along the outer side surface of the heel. Through the hole 4 is applied to the heel label, on which the heel bore through. The screw 5 is inserted into the hole 4 and push to exit its end on the other side of the heel and entering into the second hole strips. Screw the nut 6 at the end of the screw 5 and thus record strip, a Shoe on the heel. Part thorns, through a single, bent at 90 and they form a support point 3 (figure 2). The device is manufactured and tested by the author. It is convenient to operate and does not spoil the aesthetic appearance of the Shoe. The execution device in the form of a flexible metal strip creates the possibility of installing it on the heels of various sizes and shapes.

Widespread use of the devices in the home will reduce the number of injuries in the ice, which will reduce the loss of working time, the loading of the departments of emergency medicine and the size of cash payments for the sick-leaves.
