FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: length of facing arc along internal surface and difference of thickness of facing on ends corresponds to ratio: where H2 is thickness of thick end of facing, H1 is thickness of thin end of facing, and L is length of facing arc along internal surface.

EFFECT: improved frictional characteristics of friction pair due to optimal correspondence of facing geometry to distribution of forces and pressure in drum brake.

The invention relates to friction linings and pads drum brakes of vehicles, in particular trucks.

Analogous to the claimed invention is a friction plate in which the ratio between the arc length of the pads on the inner surface and the difference between the thicknesses of the pads on the edges is 62÷67 (see Friction and sealing products and materials. The catalogue. M: Tsniiteneftehim, 1990, p.69). The essential features of similar "friction strap" match the essential features of the claimed invention.

The disadvantage of analog is not in full compliance with the geometry of the pads to the distribution of forces and pressures in the drum brake, which affects the tribological characteristics of brake friction pair.

The prototype of the claimed invention is a friction plate in which the ratio between the arc length of the pads on the inner surface and the difference between the thicknesses of the pads on the edges is 37÷41 (see Asbestos technical products. The catalogue. M: Tsniiteneftehim, 1984, p.64-68). The essential features of the prototype friction strap" match the essential features of the claimed invention.

The disadvantage of the prototype is not in full compliance with the geometry of the overlay distribution the structure of forces and pressures in the drum brake, what affects the tribological characteristics of a friction pair.

The task, which is aimed by the invention is the improvement of tribological characteristics of a friction pair by ensuring optimal matching of the geometry of the pads to the distribution of forces and pressures in the drum brake.

To achieve the technical result in the friction pad arc length pads on the inner surface and the difference of the thicknesses of the pads on the edges corresponds to the ratio of:where H2- the thickness of the thick edges of the pads; H1- the thickness of the thin edges of the pads; L is the length of the arc pads on the inner surface.

The essential features of the claimed invention "arc length pads on the inner surface and the difference of the thicknesses of the pads on the edges corresponds to the ratio of:where H2- the thickness of the thick edges of the pads; H1- the thickness of the thin edges of the pads; L is the length of the arc pads on the inner surface are different from the characteristics of the prototype.

The friction pad is made from a polymeric friction composite and is part of a cylindrical shell of variable thickness, with two or three rows of holes DL the rivets. The plate has a variable thickness H in the working area (the area corresponding to the surface of frictional contact during operation). For pads with lateral bevels 1 (shown in the drawing), the thickness H is determined in relation to the working surface 2 of the pads as the minimum of H1and the maximum of H2. If the pad has no side bevels (not shown), then H1and H2determined for the edges of the pads. The difference of H2and H1determines the gradient of the thickness of the overlay in the area of the working surface. The length L of lining arc internal (not working) surface 3 is correlated with the gradient of the thickness of the lining as 35÷36, that is,where N2- the thickness of the thick edges of the pads; H1- the thickness of the thin edges of the pads; L is the length of the arc pads on the inner surface.

A specific example of the inventive lining is a drum brake lining truck with bevels, where L≈154 mm, H1≈14.4 mm, H2≈18,7 mm.

Be fabricated plate may known methods, for example, by molding with subsequent mechanical processing.

The execution of the overlay with the specified coordinate characteristics when using pads in the drum of the drum brake allows you to create a pressure difference (due Razz memo device), providing uniformity of friction and wear of the linings, the same braking torque in both directions of rotation, as well as the effect of the self, i.e. increasing the efficiency of the braking action of the friction forces. The result is improved tribological characteristics of the brake.

FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railroad transport, namely to brake shoes of rolling stock. In compliance with the first version, brake shoe comprises one-layer composite friction material rear surface of which has perforated bent steel band and wire carcass pressed therein. Said wire carcass is made up of two interconnected wires. Every carcass is made by bending wires with their ends connected. Wire ends connections cause no thickening of wire carcass along the shoe thickness. In compliance with the second version, brake shoe comprises one-layer composite friction material rear surface of which wire carcass pressed therein. Said wire carcass is made up of two interconnected wires. Every carcass is made by bending wires with their ends connected. Wire ends connections feature thickening of wire carcass along the shoe thickness. Wire ends connections are located at the center of wire carcass, nearby brake shoe outer side surface.

EFFECT: stable braking, recovery of wheel rolling surface, higher safety.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of rail transport, particularly to linings of disk brakes. Lining of disk brake contains load-bearing slab, on which there are fixed elements for bearing on it of friction elements. Friction elements are installed single or pairwise on ends of resilient reference elements. Reference elements are fixed with gap on load-bearing slab fixing facility so that friction elements are located on projecting and free-variable end points of reference elements. Reference elements are located on load-bearing slab so, that its main axis is oriented in essence perpendicularly to radius, passing through center of brake disk.

EFFECT: improvement of technical features of lining and noise reduction during lining operation.

FIELD: railway transport.

SUBSTANCE: bimetal braking clamp comprises arc-bent cast pig-iron bar furnished with a boss arranged at rear side center and having a bore to receive wedge-like cotter-pin to be fixed in clamp holder. Said cast pig-iron bar body has cylindrical inserts arranged in rows and made from material that features higher abrasive properties compared with those of bar material. Groups of inserts are separated by sections with no inserts, said inserts being point-welded to steel plate repeating the shape of and covering bar rear side. Steel plate is perforated to have 25 mm-dia holes in compliance with arrangement of inserts in bar body. Two inserts should be located opposite each round hole. Insert face overlaps round hole area for 1/3. Insert face is eclectically welded to round hole edge. In casting, mould is filled so that steel plate round holes are filled with pig-iron. Square holes are arranged along steel plate edges to receive pig-iron U-section bosses. Length of section with no inserts exceeds both width.

EFFECT: uniform wear of braking surfaces, wheels locking in all braking conditions.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to friction products and can be used in brakes for car and rail vehicles. Product contains steel basis 1 with hollows 2, covered by two layers 3 and 4 of bronze, and cover plate made of ceramic-metal, implemented of two layers 5, 6, corresponding mixture of sintered metallic and non-metallic sintered components. Thickness of layer 4 of bronze considerably increases thickness of bronze layer 3, and layer 5 of ceramic-metal is implemented with cavities, filled by material of layer 6, and amount of silica and graphite oxide in the latter increases amount of those components in layer 5.

EFFECT: adhesion increasing between metallic basis and cover plate, increasing of resistance to formation in cover plate of splits, longitudinal and transverse cracks.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the railway transport, in particular to brake blocks of the railway transport brakes. Brake block without metal support plate has metal insert containing the main body, two wing-shaped feathers integrated into the main body, located on its opposing sides, digressed wherefrom and having backside surfaces adjacent to the backside surface of the brake block. It also has two mostly parallel feathers spreading in radial direction and integrated into the main body and/or to the wing-shaped feathers. Parallel feathers form the keyway. When the brake block is installed at the brake head the keyway passes through the hole located in the brake head.

EFFECT: invention increases the technical characteristics of the block.

FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to structural powder metallurgy, particularly to powder frictional material. It can be used for manufacturing of components of disk brakes, particularly, lining of disk brakes. Material contains, wt %: tin 1.8-3, iron 7-20, graphite 7-20, fused alumina 1.5-2, ferromolybdenum 0.5-2 and copper-the rest.

EFFECT: material provides high frictional thermal stability and strength of components of disk brakes, and also high wear resistance of lining of disk brakes.

SUBSTANCE: in compliance with this invention, method proposes producing two brake blocks from a plate. The latter comprises fist layer of friction material and second layer for bearing plate of brake block. First layer covers completely second layer. Part of friction material layer is removed the plate to comply with peripheral shape of every brake block so that there is no liner friction layer on a part of material layer of bearing plate. Plate is cut to comply with bearing plate shape.

EFFECT: lower labor input, no necessity in warehousing.

SUBSTANCE: proposed brake shoe contains cast iron bar on rear side of which boss is arranged containing steel member for wedge-like cotter of shoe holder made in form of shaped section of steel plate enclosing the boss. Hole to pass wedge-like cotter is made in boss. Member is secured on steel plate covering bra from rear side and passing under boss. Found at edges of bar over ends of steel plate are T-shaped cast iron projections for engagement with brake shoe holder. Inserts made of material, abrasiveness differing from abrasiveness of cast iron bar are fitted in body of cast iron bar. Inserts are cylindrical, being arranged on steel plate with embedding into cast iron bar in two groups. Centers of three nearest inserts in each group are equidistant from each other. Groups of inserts are separated by section without inserts, and four extreme cylindrical inserts in groups are provided with ring grooves on side surface. Each group consists of seven insets.

EFFECT: increased balanced service life, reliability, efficiency increased service life of wheels owing to reduction of their wear caused by brake bimetallic shoes.

SUBSTANCE: proposed bimetallic brake shoe contains cast iron bar made by molding and steel plate from which steel cylindrical inserts pass into cast iron bar which are arranged in two parallel rows. Inserts are made of material whose abrasiveness is higher than material of bar. Steel plate is placed longitudinally under boss and it covers entire surface of rear side of cast iron bar. It contains middle profiled section enclosing cross boss. Extreme cylindrical inserts in rows are provided with ring grooves on side surface. Diameter d of each cylindrical insert is found from formula d=(0.16-0.32) x B where d is diameter of cylindrical insert; B is width of working surface of shoe, and T-areas of working surface of shoe without inserts is calculated by formula T=(5.0-9.2) x t where T is area of working surface; t is sum of working surfaces of inserts.

EFFECT: improved operating characteristics of shoe, increased balanced service life, reliability, efficiency, increased service life of wheels of rolling stock owing to reduction of their wear caused by brake bimetallic shoes.

Said cooling device represents cylindrical heat pipes arranged in identical-diametre through holes regularly spaced along perimetre at the brake drum center, perpendicular to friction surface. Plugs are arranged in heat pipes, on the side of brake drum rim. There are wedge-like rectangular-section through holes at heat pipes center to receive wedge-like plates to make extra heat exchange surfaces that contact brake drum non-working surfaces by their inner faces.
