FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: there is obtained rod body and head in the form of all-metal structure by forging and proceeds in two stages. Head allows external clamp and "area for key". At the first stage it is received initial semi-finished product with reinforced part and formed "area for key". At the second stage it is implemented final formation of external clamp of head. The second stage is implemented at least at three sequential conversions at least in three final impressions. At the first conversion in the first impression there is introduced metallic technological ring into area of formed clamp. In the following impressions it is implemented final clamping of semi-finished product.

EFFECT: increasing of bearing capacity of pump rod.

The invention relates to the processing of metals by pressure and can be used for the manufacture of heads of hollow sucker rods for oil and gas wells.

Closest to the claimed invention is known from the prior art method, the process cycle which provides for separate manufacture of hollow body elements, and the heads of the rods and their subsequent welding with regulated technological parameters of profile formation and geometrical dimensions (Patent RF №2233214, WR 15/00, 2004).

The disadvantages known from the prior art method include low bearing capacity of the pump rod in comparison with all-metal construction.

Task to be solved by the claimed invention is directed, is to increase the carrying capacity of the pump rod by receiving the body of the rod and its head in the form of all-metal construction.

This technical result is achieved by that in the method of manufacturing a hollow sucker rods for oil and gas wells, including the production of a rod body and a head having an outer collar and mating with the last place for the key, wherein receiving the body of the rod and the cylinder in the form of all-metal designs by stamping from steel billets in two stages, the first of the cat is ryh get the source material with a thickened part and decorated with "turnkey" by dialing metal billet with an initial decrease its inner diameter and further distribution with increasing the outer diameter and the initial thickness of polimetrica preliminary procurement streams of the forging machine, and in the second stage produces the final formation of the outer clamp head pump rod in at least three consecutive transition in polimetrica at least three final streams forging machines using metal technological rings with the profile of the outer surface, similar to the profile formed by the outer collar, during the first transition in the first Creek first carry out the introduction into the cavity of the semi-finished product in the region of the formed metal collar technological ring shaped inner punch of the partial increase of the outer diameter of the semi-finished product in the area of the formed collar and fixing in this area of technology rings, at the same time carry out a preliminary crimping adjacent to the outer collar at the end of the prefabricated outer punch, and then in subsequent streams make final crimping of the above-mentioned semi-finished product with the forming of the thrust ledge formed by the collar.

The method is realized by the following sequence of operations.

The process oudestraat two stage method of forming a monolithic tubular workpieces. At the first stage receives the initial semi-finished product with a thickened part and decorated with "turnkey", for example, through the use of a necessary number of pre-procurement streams in polimetrica forging machines. On the first transition of the first stage, as shown in figure 1, is a set of metal method to reduce the inner diameter of the round billet 1 with obtaining a semi-finished product 2 using volumetric 3 and plug 4. Next, as shown in figure 2, the semi-finished product is subjected to hand no more than two transitions using polymetric 5 and plug 6 with the increase of the outer diameter and thickness of pipe billets Forging and stamping: Vol.2. The final formation of the source material with a thickened part 7 and decorated with "turnkey" 8 takes place by means of volumetric 9 and the punch 10, as shown in figure 3, by the hand of the material with the increase of more external and less internal diameter for receipt of the respective thickened part.

The final formation of the outer collar carried out at the second stage, at least three consecutive transition, at least in the final three streams in polimetrica forging machines. Initially on the first transition in the first stream, as shown is figure 4, being introduced into the cavity of the semi-finished product in the region of the formed collar 11 metal technological rings 12 (solid or split) profiled inner plug 13, during the reverse motion of which due to the taper surface 14 is a partial increase of the outer diameter of the semi-finished product in the area of the formed collar 11 and the fixation in the field of metal technology ring 12. At the same time are pre-crimping adjacent to the outer collar at the end of the 15 semi-finished outer punch 16. Then in subsequent streams, as shown in figure 5, 6, perform the final crimping of the above-mentioned semi-finished product with the forming of the thrust ledge formed clamp 11, with the specified internal diameter of the head of the hollow pump rod is provided through the mandrel 17.

Thus, the claimed invention allows to manufacture the body of the rod and its head in the form of all-metal construction that will increase the carrying capacity of the product, due to the exclusion in its design of welded connections.

The method was tested in experimental and industrial options.

The method of fabrication of pump bars consists in heating ends of stock of round bar for punching heads of the pump bar, in punching heads of the pump bar, in heat treatment of the pump bar and in following shaping of the body of the pump bar in a hot state, in thread rolling of the pump bar, in rolling surface of a behind-thread groove and in strengthening a surface layer of the body of the pump bar. Strengthening of a surface layer of the body of the pump bar is carried out with cold-work hardening in a preliminary stressed state, which corresponds to a combination of overload reinforcement with cold-work hardening. Also the stock is stressed with load of the same direction, that a working load affecting the bar at operation.

SUBSTANCE: head of hollow pumping rod includes external shoulder 1 of the specified geometrical shape and "ready-to-operate" place 2 adjacent to it, which is made in the form of hexagon. External shoulder 1 is arranged so that there can be used metal process ring 3 pressed into cavity of head in the area of shoulder and with the shape of external surface, which is similar to the shape of the above shoulder. Inner diametre of ring 3 corresponds to diametre of cylindrical cavities of head, which are located on both sides of that ring.

SUBSTANCE: heated end of a drill pipe is deformed on a press in a cavity of a split die by means of a movable puncheon in four subsequent upsetting operations. First, deformation of the pipe end is performed only with reduction of the inner diameter of the upset end. For the first upsetting operation, a puncheon and a split die is used, the diameter of the working cavity of which is equal to diameter of the upset pipe in a hot state. For the second operation, a split die which is specified in the first upsetting operation and a puncheon of a smaller diameter is used. For the third upsetting operation, a die of a larger diameter and a puncheon specified in the second upsetting operation is used. SUBSTANCE: device comprises body retained from longitudinal movement at upper and lower coupler ends, two caps arranged in upper and lower body parts. Each cap has hinge and screw to press the cap and body to power string. Body surface is made as a cylinder, which passes into longitudinal walls at upper and lower ends thereof. The longitudinal walls form coaxial longitudinal grooves for cable laying. Flanges with through orifices for screw receiving are arranged from one groove side. The screws being assembled with hinge pins secured to the first cap ends to form screw pairs. Cap engaging means are created from another groove side. The caps are elastodeformed and cap thickness does not exceed coupler wall thickness. The caps are provided with members mating above cap engaging members made at free ends thereof. Body is formed so that in assembled state cylindrical surface thereof extends beyond the flanges and the cap engaging members. Inner ends of longitudinal walls are adapted to fix the device at upper and lower coupler ends.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of power cable protection against impact action, reduced weight and size.
