Advanced lining of disk brake with friction elements, particularly for application in rail transport

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of rail transport, particularly to linings of disk brakes. Lining of disk brake contains load-bearing slab, on which there are fixed elements for bearing on it of friction elements. Friction elements are installed single or pairwise on ends of resilient reference elements. Reference elements are fixed with gap on load-bearing slab fixing facility so that friction elements are located on projecting and free-variable end points of reference elements. Reference elements are located on load-bearing slab so, that its main axis is oriented in essence perpendicularly to radius, passing through center of brake disk.

EFFECT: improvement of technical features of lining and noise reduction during lining operation.

The present invention relates to an improved pad disc brake with friction elements, in particular, for use in railway transport.

More specifically the present invention relates to improvements in brake linings, allowing to significantly reduce the noise level of the known brakes.

It is well known that in recent years, special attention is paid to the brake device for a railway transportation, taking into account the fact that rail transport is the constant increase of speed.

In this regard, it is known designed technical solution according to the patent of Italy No. 1261780, filed August 05, 1993 on the cover disc brakes with sintered friction elements.

The solution according to the mentioned patent, Italy belongs to the overlay, in which a separate agglomerated friction elements are cylindrical or polyhedral shape is installed on the elastic metal plates on their ends. The metal plate attached to the carrier plate strips so that each end plate contains independently-movable bracket, shock-absorbing deformation due to thermal load and therefore provides a uniform pressure of contact between the individual friction elements and deceleration is s ' drive. This decision has very good performance, evidenced by the wide use of these brakes.

But the decision in accordance with the above patent has several disadvantages in relation to the noise of the pads during braking, and the noise is very audible.

In view of the above problems, the applicant has improved the pad described in the above-mentioned patent, and mentioned improvements can reduce or eliminate completely the problem of noise. This and other results according to the present invention ensure the implementation of the lining, which provides friction elements mounted on the elastic metal plates and connected with the bearing plate retainer; and positioning and dimensions mentioned friction elements such that they form a round piece or strip of the drive on which each friction element or a pair of friction elements acting as narrowly as possible, to minimize the difference in peripheral speed between the inner diameter and outer diameter of the said pieces or strips. The optimum size of this part or bars up to 40 mm for single friction element and up to 50 mm for each pair of elements mounted on one pole.

Therefore, an object of the present invention is the molding of the disk t is Rosa, in particular, for use on a railway vehicle containing a carrier plate on which are fixed elements to support their fraccionamiento; and mentioned friction elements are installed are solitary or in pairs on the end of the elastic supporting elements; moreover mentioned supporting elements fixed with a clearance on the bearing plate retainer means so that the friction elements are placed on the speakers and the freely movable ends of the aforementioned support elements; said plate characterized by the fact that the said support elements are placed on said carrier plate so that their major axis is oriented essentially perpendicular to the radius passing through the center of the brake disk.

According to the present invention mentioned friction elements have essentially polygonal or circular cross-section.

In addition, according to the present invention provides one to three friction elements on each support element.

In a preferred embodiment, the pads according to the present invention provides an elastic bearing consisting of two imposed on each other elastic elements, the Central interconnected, resulting in a change in stiffness n is the bending of the elastic element; the lower elastic element has two tabs; and the contact between the lower and upper elastic elements occurs only in accordance with the Central communication and ends with the protrusions, thereby creating a pre-load of the upper elastic element.

Also according to the present invention mentioned friction elements may consist of agglomerated (sintered) material.

Also according to the present invention mentioned supporting elements can consist of elastic metal plates.

According to the present invention mentioned friction elements can be fastened with rivets on said support elements, with the help of suitable metal supports.

Also according to the present invention has high heat resistance insulating or damping layer can be placed between the said bearing elements and the bearing plate.

According to the present invention isolating or damping layer can be placed between the said friction elements and the respective support element.

The invention is described only in the explanatory and not limiting purposes, according to its preferred options for implementation with reference to the accompanying drawings, on which:

Shown in figures 1 and 2, the plate 1 has a carrier plate 2, which includes a pair of friction elements 3 attached to the metal plate 4. The tabs 5 are installed between the plate 2 and the metal plate 4; and the said retainer 5 can be performed simultaneously with rivets.

The connection between the metal plate 4 and the plate 2 is preferably made in accordance with the aforementioned patent Italy No. 1261760.

In the technical solution under the present invention the friction elements 3 are provided on the plate 2, with their main axis intended the and essentially perpendicular to the radius of the lining. In particular, according to figure 1 the radius of the lining according to the invention passes through the fixing rivets 5 plates 4 in the plate 2.

Thus, the positioning of the friction elements 3 are obtained, implying the smallest full size in a radial direction with respect to the same pad.

Figure 3 and 4 show a second variant implementation of the present invention. Here to indicate elements corresponding to the elements in figure 1 and 2, similar reference position.

Unlike the previous version of the implementation is mainly in the form of the friction elements 3, in this case, instead of the round shape is used polygonal shape.

Figure 5 and 6 shows a third variant of the implementation of the lining according to the invention. Here to indicate elements corresponding to the elements of the previous figures 1 to 4, similar reference position.

In this case, the shape of the friction lining 3 optimizes the use of space on the plate 2, to obtain a higher density of the friction elements on the surface of the plate 2, and the orientation and position of the same friction elements remains unchanged.

The fourth variant of the implementation of the lining 1 according to the present invention shown in Fig.7, and the supporting element 4 of a cantilever connecting the elements of the 5 on the plate 2 and thus represents a separate friction element 3.

On Fig shows a graph in which the abscissa shows the number of braking, and on the ordinate is the noise level; curve a represents the results obtained according to the invention, and curve b shows the results provided in the application pads according to the prior art.

Figure 9-11 shows a fifth variant of the implementation of the pads according to the present invention, providing elastic support of the two-imposed on each other elastic elements 6', 6”are connected to each other by two Central rivets 7, resulting in a change in the bending stiffness of this elastic element.

The lower elastic element 6' has two tabs 8. The contact between two elastic elements 6', 6” is only in accordance with the rivets 7 and ends with the tabs 8.

This provides a pre-load to the upper elastic element 6”, creating optimal working conditions, i.e. taking into account the fact that the most critical condition in the work (maximum noise) occurs when there is a low standard load (braking force).

The solution provides increased result both from the point of view of noise, and from the point of view of efficiency in wet conditions.

The present invention has been described in the explanatory and not exhaust initialing purposes in accordance with its preferred option, but it is understood that the specialists in the art can make modifications without deviating from the essential scope defined in the attached claims.

8. The pad according to claim 1, characterized in that the said friction elements consist of agglomerated material.

9. The pad according to claim 1, characterized in that the said supporting elements consist of an elastic metal is Lastin.

10. The pad according to claim 1 or 9, characterized in that the said friction elements fixed with rivets on said support elements, with the help of suitable metal supports.

11. The pad according to claim 1, characterized in that between the said bearing elements and the bearing plate is placed with a high temperature resistant insulating or cushioning layer.
