FIELD: instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of friction items, in particular to brake pads of drum brakes in vehicles. Friction item is equipped with openings for rivets installed in rows on both sides from plane of item symmetry at the same distance from plane of item symmetry. Ratio between distance from opening centres to plane of item symmetry and difference of maximum and minimum thickness of item in zone of its working surface makes from 6 to 26.

EFFECT: invention provides for better operational characteristics of pad with varioys thickness due to optimisation of stresses that occur in pad in process of operation.

The invention relates to friction products, namely the containing hole rivet pads, drum brakes of vehicles, in particular trucks.

Analogous to the claimed invention is a friction product, provided with a hole, a plane of symmetry which asymptotically approaches the longitudinal plane of symmetry of the product (see RF patent №2286275, IPC7F16D 65/04, 2006). The essential features of similar: "aperture, the plane of symmetry of the product coincided with the essential features of the claimed invention.

The disadvantage of analogue is the lack of industrial applicability, namely the impossibility of carrying out the invention, because the product does not have the longitudinal plane of symmetry. In addition, the term "asymptotic" means "unlimited coming", that is analogous to the "unlimited approaching approaching"that has neither technical nor semantic content.

The prototype of the claimed invention is a friction product, with openings arranged in rows on both sides of the longitudinal plane of symmetry of the pads at the same distance from the plane of symmetry of the pads. Holes can be located in the symmetry plane of the pads (see Reference science in tribology. Tribotechnical the anti-friction, friction and coupling devices. Methods and means of tribological tests. Tom. 3. M.: Mashinostroenie, 1992; Warsaw, on, 1992, s). The essential features of the prototype: "with openings arranged in rows on both sides of the plane of symmetry of the lining, at the same distance from the plane of symmetry pads" match the essential features of the claimed invention.

The disadvantage of the prototype is the ability to reduce performance pads if its ethnotaxonomy by increasing the possibility of uncompensated stresses in the zones of the holes in the plate at impact operational loads.

The task, which is aimed by the invention is the improvement of the operational characteristics ethnotaxonomy pads by optimizing the stresses in the plate during operation by executing overlays in optimal ratios of the thicknesses of the plates and the arrangement of the rows of holes.

To achieve the technical result in the friction plate, provided with holes for rivets, spaced rows on both sides of the longitudinal plane of symmetry of the pads at the same distance from the plane of symmetry of the lining, the ratio of the distances from the centers of the holes to square Scotti symmetry pads and the difference between the maximum and minimum thicknesses of the pads in the area of its working surface is 6÷26:

where l is the distance from the centers of the rivet holes to the plane of symmetry of the pads,

H1- maximum thickness of the overlay in the area of the surface of the lining, participating in frictional contact;

H2- the minimum lining thickness in the area of the surface of the lining, participating in frictional contact.

The essential features of the claimed invention, the ratio of the distances from the centers of the holes to the plane of symmetry of the pads and the difference between the maximum and minimum thicknesses of the pads in the area of its working surface is 6÷26" are different from the characteristics of the prototype.

Figure 1 shows the inventive friction products. Figure 2 presents the product side.

Friction product is made of polymer friction composite and is part of a cylindrical shell of variable thickness, with two or three rows of holes for rivets. Holes 1 are arranged in two rows on either side of the plane of symmetry 2 products. If necessary, the product may contain third row of holes for rivets, the centers of which are located in the plane of symmetry of the product. For the two rows of holes, the distance l from the center hole to the plane of symmetry of the lining the same way. The product has a variable thickness H in the work-area, i.e. in the zone, the corresponding surface frictional contact during operation. For products with lateral bevels 3 (shown in figure 2), the thickness H is determined in relation to the working surface 4 of the articles as the maximum of H1and as the minimum of H2. If the product has no side bevels, N1and H2determined for the edges of the product. The difference of H1and H2determines the gradient of the thickness in the area of the working surface. The product is performed so that the ratio between the distance from the centers of the holes located on both sides of the plane of symmetry of the lining, to the plane of symmetry pads (length l) and the difference between the maximum and minimum thickness of the overlay in the area of the working surface (H1and H2) ranged from 6 to 26, that is,

A specific example of the inventive product is drum brake lining truck, where l≈74,3 mm; H1-H2≈3 mm;Another concrete example is the drum brake pad bus, where l≈36,8 mm; H1-N2≈ 5 mm;

Manufactured product is well-known methods, with the holes in the product are drilling.

Performing friction products with the specified coordinate characteristics of the AMI allows you to optimize voltage, friction contacts during operation raznoformnyh linings, especially in areas where the cover is fixed by rivets to the metallic frame. The result is improved operational characteristics of the product.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, namely, to friction bake shoe linings of disk brakes. Proposed device comprises moulding material attached to load bearing plate with opposite surfaces, one or several out-of-round extrusion orifices arranged over the plate depth, and ledges or any other fixed mounting ledge. Aforesaid moulding material is arranged above aforesaid opposite surfaces after extruding through aforesaid extrusion orifices to produce a homogeneous structure. In this structure moulding material on one side of load bearing plate acts as friction material of the lining, and, on the other side, it acts as a noise-reducing element. The number, shape and arrangement of extrusion orifices may vary to vary noise-reducing properties of the block, thus, reducing risks of brake system components locking.

EFFECT: improved noise-reducing properties.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, particularly to railway vehicle block brakes. Block brake comprises at least one-layer composite friction element, wire carcass and two solid inserts. Aforesaid wire carcass is pressed in the composite friction material on the block brake rear side. Solid inserts are jointed with the wire carcass. Each of two solid inserts has at least one ledge on the brake rear part, on every side along the insert length. One of the said ledges is arranged in central boss, on both sides from the block center.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to friction products, particularly, to blocks and linings of the vehicle disk and drum brakes. The proposed friction product includes a polymer composite friction element with ferromagnetic particles from magnetically soft material. Additionally, it comprises the particles of magnetically hard material with the ratio of magnetically soft-to-magnetically hard particles making from 1:1 to 1.5:1, respectively. As a result, friction properties are improved due to accelerated stabilisation of friction characteristics during initial operation in, primarily, out-of-town conditions. This has been achieved because of constant heating of proposed product during reversal magnetisation under temperatures that cause no fast destruction of friction composite polymer matrix.

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the method for oxidation defence of the article made from composite carbon-containing material and having the residual open inner pores. The said method includes at least one stage of composite material impregnating to depth with the impregnating composition containing at least one metal phosphate in the solution and titanium diboride in the form of the powder with particle size in the range from 0.1 mcm to 200 mcm. The invention refers also to the article obtained by the aforementioned method. Invention is developed in related items of invention formula.

EFFECT: invention provides the article oxidation defence at temperatures more than 1000°C, particularly in the presence of carbon oxidation catalyst and in wet conditions.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of railway transport, namely to disc brake mechanisms used in railway rolling stock. Brake block consists of frame and friction element that is monolithically connected to it. There are mounting lugs installed on back side of frame. Friction element consists of 1-4 inserts. Inserts are arranged as integral or composite. Integral inserts are installed in frame chambers and are arranged in the form of truncated pyramids with base in the form of trapezoid or polygon that are inverted with their lower base to working surface of brake block, with inclination of side walls of α=10°-15°, with provision of "dovetail" joint to frame chambers. Composite inserts are made of parts, parts are installed in cells of frame chambers and are arranged in the form of truncated pyramids or cones inverted with their smaller base to working surface of brake block with inclination of side walls of α=10°-15°, with provision of "dovetail" joint to cells of frame chambers. Frame material additionally covers internal side walls of integral inserts or internal side walls of composite insert parts. There are windows provided in external side walls of frame, at least on two sides opposite to every insert, and inserts have protrusions that correspond to windows. There are heat resistant elastic damper bushings placed in mounting lugs.

EFFECT: increased heat resistance of block, operational durability, reliability and mechanical strength.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to railway transport industry, namely to braking mechanisms used at rolling railway equipment. Brake shoe includes steel plate, cast-iron arc-shaped body consisting of main and profile areas with made groove. The body is equipped with friction elements performed in a form of cylindrical inserts. From the back in the middle of the brake shoe body main area there is transverse lug with hole for V-shaped retaining key. At the back the main area of shoe arc-shaped body is equipped with mounting T-shaped lips at the edges for coupling with stop block and stiffeners in a form of triangular lugs. The depth of profile area lug exceeds the height of wheel tread flange by 0.85 of brake shoe main area thickness. Steel plate covers brake shoe back side, encloses transverse cast-iron lug and has holes in side surface at the level of lug holes for U-shaped retaining key. In the steel plate there are mounting holes for inserts fixing. Five metallic inserts are installed from the side of wearing surface perpendicular to groove outer side wall of profile area.

EFFECT: provision of brake shoe operation safety and effectiveness, elimination of thermodynamic cross cracks possible formation, increase of rolling equipment wheel life and provision of better heat extraction and cooling of brake shoe main and profile area working part.

Said cooling device represents cylindrical heat pipes arranged in identical-diametre through holes regularly spaced along perimetre at the brake drum center, perpendicular to friction surface. Plugs are arranged in heat pipes, on the side of brake drum rim. There are wedge-like rectangular-section through holes at heat pipes center to receive wedge-like plates to make extra heat exchange surfaces that contact brake drum non-working surfaces by their inner faces. SUBSTANCE: friction lining represents a part of cylindrical ring formed by misaligned cylindrical surfaces with parallel rotational axes and has different-thickness ends. Side surface limiting the lining on thin-end side represents two aligned flat surfaces. Side surface limiting the lining on thick-end side represents flat surface not radial to lining outer surface radius. Rotational axes of cylindrical surfaces are located in the plane that does not cross nor contact the lining.
