Method of corrugated sheets profiling

FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: beforehand mushroom-shaped flutes are formed with semicircular tops and inter-flute sections and intermediate flutes are formed with vertical lateral facets on the front end of strip with length that is equal to inter-cage distance of profile-bending machine in the cage, the top roller of which has separating flanges. Rollers are distanced after forming of mushroom-shaped flutes for free passage of corrugated strip, mushroom-shaped flutes are formed in cages of profile-bending machine and intermediate flutes with vertical lateral facets are finally formed in the last cage of profile-bending machine by means of free setting with smooth rollers.

EFFECT: quality is improved; technological resources of the process are expanded and production costs are reduced.

The invention relates to rolling production and can be used when profiling corrugated sheets, mainly with mushroom-shaped corrugations.

Such corrugations with a trapezoidal cross-section have flat tops and migeprofe areas, with the width of the peaks of the corrugations greater than the width of their bases, and the side faces of the corrugations inclined to the horizontal at an angle of more than 90°measured from the average axial line.

The formation of corrugations in a sheet of bent profiles begins with the mid-width of the passband of the workpiece, and consistent with, the aisles, the formation of all the rest of the corrugations to the desired final configuration. There is a method of profiling steel strip, in which with increasing bending radius trapezoidal corrugations and the increase in the width of the passband of the workpiece it is applied longitudinal tension of a predetermined magnitude by increasing the rotation speed of the rolls of the last two mill stands (see U.S. Pat. Of the Russian Federation No. 2149072, CL 21D 5/06, 11/00, publ. in BI No. 14, 2000). However, this method is unacceptable for improving the geometry of sheet profiles with the above mushroom-shaped corrugations.

The closest analogue to awsesome method is a method of profiling the corrugated sheets in U.S. Pat. Of the Russian Federation No. 2050999, CL 21D 5/06, publ. in BI No. 36, 1995

This method involves consistent across the width of the passband of the workpiece forming of corrugations trapezoidal cross-section in the rolls of the roll forming mill, starting from the middle of the corrugations, and is characterized by the fact that upon reaching the inner edges of the corrugations adjacent middle corrugations defined (end) of the angle bended form their release from contact with the rollers, and upon reaching a desired configuration adjacent corrugations average re-passed through the gauges, which prevents the reduction of the achieved angle bended form, i.e. improves the geometry of the finished profiles.

The known method also unacceptable for quality improvement (improved geometry) sheet profiles with mushroom-shaped corrugations.

Indeed, in the known method is the repeated transmission of the formed secondary corrugations through calibers, which is quite acceptable for trapezoidal corrugations with the inclination of the lateral faces to the horizontal at an angle less than 90° (in the direction of their average centerline). Calibers for mushroom corrugations is only possible with vertical walls, i.e. it essentially rolls with the disk edges, which does not reduce the height increases as the width) of such corrugations.

The technical task of the present invention is to improve the quality of sheet profiles with mushroom and corrugations by improving their geometry and expanding the technological capabilities of the manufacturing process, as well as reducing production costs.

To solve the stated problem, the inventive method profiling of leaves with mushroom-shaped corrugations includes pre-forming mushroom-shaped flute with semicircular tops and migomobile areas and intermediate ribs with vertical side faces on the front end of the strip length equal interstand distance of the forming mill in the cage, the upper roller which has a separating flange, breeding rolls after forming mushroom-shaped flute for passage of the corrugated strip, forming mushroom corrugations in the stands of the roll forming mill and the final shaping in the last stand forming mill free draught of smooth rollers of the intermediate corrugations with vertical side faces.

The essence of the proposed technical solution is in the preliminary shaping on the front end of the strip workpiece of a given length of corrugations desired configuration, which improves the geometry of the finished profiles. In result, it becomes possible for the rest of the band to produce the final mushroom-shaped cross-section of the corrugations by precipitation of the intermediate corrugations (with vertical side faces) in the cage with smooth rolls. Free of sediment allows you to adjust the height of a horse is different corrugations in a fairly wide range, while using smooth rolls reduces their production, reducing production costs.

The equality of the length of the pre-formed end of the workpiece interstand distance due to the following.

When reducing the height of the intermediate corrugation and the increase in the width of its peak in the precipitation process in smooth rolls loss may occur stability this corrugation ("stall") with an unacceptable distortion of the cross section of the corrugations. As interstand distance of the forming mill is not less than the section length of the bended form (i.e. the zone of the longitudinal deformation of the vertical elements of the profile, in our case, the side faces of the corrugations), the resulting tensile stresses at the edges of these elements (see, for example, the book Apekisheva and Webclicker "the Bent profiles of rent), "metallurgy", 1974, p.51-52) does not affect the stability of the cross-sections of corrugations in adjacent stands (these voltage as would be "extinguished" in interstand period). The correct length of pre-formed end was confirmed by experiments (see below).

The proposed method is implemented as follows.

In the composition of the forming mill, carrying out the molding strips with mushroom-shaped corrugations, introduces an additional cage installed before the last crate with ugly rollers and carrying out the final four is obrazovanie mushroom corrugations. The upper roller of this stand is made with separating ribs, preventing lateral "stalling" of the corrugations. After forming on the desired length of the strip mushroom flute rolls this cage divorce, through the free passage of the corrugated strip (with intermediate corrugations) between them in the last stand of the mill, producing a free draught of these corrugations.

Experimental validation of the proposed technical solution was implemented on a roll forming mill 0,5-2,5×300-1500 OJSC "Magnitogorsk iron and steel works".

With this purpose, the profiled strips with mushroom-shaped corrugations were tested two variants profiling: by known techniques, is selected as the closest analogue, and offer. The results were evaluated for quality (geometry) ready profiles, and adjust the height of the corrugations and the consumption of the rolls. The best results (qualitative profiles up to 99.6%, the maximum value of the height adjustment mushroom corrugations at minimum cost to manufacture rolls) obtained using the proposed method.

Reducing the length of pre-formed end of the strip (less interstand distance of the camp) gave a yield of quality profiles within 63...95%, and this value decreased with the decrease of the specified length. Profiling famous for the mu method led to the qualitative profiles of not more than 82%, and part of the finished profiles were observed longitudinal stripes and scratches on the top rounded mushroom corrugations due to their contact with discoid upper edges of the roll.

Thus, experimental validation confirmed the acceptability found technical solutions to achieve this goal and its advantages over the known object.

According to feasibility studies conducted in the Central laboratory of JSC "MMK", the use of the proposed method in the manufacture of sheet profiles with mushroom-shaped corrugations increase the profit from the sale (due to reduction in rejection) not less than 5% with a simultaneous reduction of production costs by approximately 3%.

Specific example

Corrugated sheet profile thickness of 1.5 mm and a width of 1000 mm with four mushroom-shaped corrugations with a height of 60 mm with an angle of inclination of the side faces to the horizontal 155° and with the width of the top flat face 65 mm moulded in 12 cages roll forming mill with interstand distance of 1000 mm

Previously in more mill stands on the front end of the strip workpiece length 1000 mm are formed corrugations of a given configuration. Then profiling (mentioned without stand) with a draft of the intermediate corrugations (with vertical sides and semi-circular cages, the us and migomobile plots) in the XII cage with smooth rolls.

SUBSTANCE: method is realized due to applying successive local bending efforts during one or several transitions along bending lines and performing rotary local deforming between engaging deforming members. At least one pressure member is in the form of roller with curvature radius in cross direction less than curvature radius of part in the same direction. Axis for applying bending efforts is directed along lines normal relative to bending lines in plane and to plane of bent blank. Bending efforts are applied beginning from shortest butt cross edge of blank. Above mentioned bending lines divide cross section of blank by even number of pieces whose length is equal to bending pitch or proportional to it. Lengthwise edges of grooves are selected as near as possible to curvature lines of part surface with maximum and minimum curvature radius in each point.

EFFECT: lowered labor consumption of process for shaping sheet parts.
