The invention relates to the field of engineering, in particular to actuators, which convert the energy of compressed gases (air) in rectilinear motion. The pneumatic cylinders are widely used to move the working bodies in hoisting machines, machines, production lines, aircraft etc.

Known pneumatic cylinder, comprising a housing, end caps with holes for supplying and discharging working fluid, the piston with the sealing elements are accommodated in the housing with the formation of the working chambers, a piston rod associated with the piston [1].

The end cap of the known device is manufactured by the method of precision casting of aluminum alloy, after the castings are subjected to surface finishing process to remove sharp burrs on the border of the connector half-form. The disadvantage of this solution is the complexity of the technological process of manufacture requiring high precision reference surfaces, as technology item after casting is not subjected to mechanical processing. In the front cover has a guide sleeve that require installation. This result is achieved by the pneumatic cylinder containing a working rod connected with the piston installed in prefabricated housing, comprising a cylindrical sleeve, buttoned-up and end-to-end caps with holes, in which are installed fittings and damping throttle device according to the invention the cover is manufactured by a method of injection molding of thermoplastic polymeric material with fiberglass filler (such as glass fibre reinforced polyamide is a thermoplastic material, 70% consisting of glass filaments). to facilitate construction due to its original shape and density of the material used;

to improve the lubrication of the piston rod and the guide due to the special design and the different teeth.

Pneumatic cylinder (figure 1) contains the working spindle 1, one end of which is connected with the piston 2, is placed in the sleeve 3 through 4 and the dead 5 cover, fastened by tie bolts 6 and nuts 7. Each cover (3) has a corresponding threaded metal adapter 8 and 9 to install the fittings for compressed air and damping throttle device 10, and 11. In each cap 4 and 5 (figure 1) is installed on the pair of sealing rings 12 and 13. Each of the sealing rings 13 is held by a metal locking ring 14 and the four screws. Thus, the proposed invention allows to simplify the design of the pneumatic cylinder, improve reliability, reduce the complexity of Assembly and disassembly, as well as to improve weight characteristics and other technical and operational quality.
