SUBSTANCE: protective grid comprises support members and vertical rods arranged in-between. The vertical rods are connected with each other through enclosing members. The support members include cross-bars and Ω-shaped links with orifices firmed at ends thereof. The orifices are adapted to receive above rods. The links are in vertical planes and alternate so that they form mirror images of each other and central projecting part of each upper link is joined with that of lower link and create closed loops in vertical plane. Cross-bars or links are located in each section defined by two adjacent rods so that sections with links and sections with cross-bars alternate in section aperture plane. End parts of cross-bars are located between end parts of links adjoining thereto from top and bottom sides in joints of enclosing member connection with rods so that united connection unit is formed.

The invention relates to the construction, in particular to the construction safety fencing devices, and can be used for protection from thieves window openings of various buildings.

Known devices for protection of window and door openings, for example a device for enclosing openings of the building containing the rods connected between a non-load-bearing elements and the supporting elements (see ed. certificate. The USSR №1158735, CL EV 9/00, 1985).

The disadvantages of the known devices are small protection, low performance and limited applicability.

Closest to the claimed is a protective device that contains the rods connected between a non-load-bearing elements and the supporting elements in the form of rollers. The device also contains two guides mounted on opposite sides of the opening, and a movable sleeve located on the rods in a checkerboard pattern (see RF patent №2099502, CL EV 9/01, 1997).

The disadvantages of the known devices are complicated and bulky construction, substantial intensity due to the large number of parts and components, the high complexity of manufacture of the device, as well as the lack of rigidity of the structure as a whole, which does not provide the necessary reliability of the structure.

The invention which is to simplify the design, a significant reduction in the complexity of its manufacture and Assembly, as well as reducing the metal, increasing the rigidity of the structure, which will increase reliability and durability in operation.
