SUBSTANCE: joint includes a number of segments and connection pipes. The joint is formed as two stamped halves connected with each other by welds to form cylindrical connection pipes provided with flanges. The flanges are welded to the connection pipe ends.

The invention relates to the construction of metal trusses and can be used mainly in the spans of bridges.

Currently, the superstructure lattice main farms are made in Russia on standard projects. Main farm are the main load-bearing parts of the buildings. Includes welded composite section of the belt elements and lattice merged into nodes using high-strength bolts (Paul A.A. and other metalwork bridges. - M.: Transport, 1982, str-92, RIS-3.29).

This design allows assembling the main farms in all weather and climatic conditions with a stable level of quality. The force is transferred through the two side plates (shelves), and the walls as I-and box-section is not included in the work, because if the bolt doesn't do the pads so that they passed overhead.

At the same time, these sites have a number of disadvantages: low level of technological design and the availability of a larger number of places and areas of high stress concentration; the practical impossibility unobstructed examination of their technical condition during operation to identify emerging fatigue cracks and lesions corrosion. The last disadvantage of nodes due to the specificity of their con is reconstructive devices, namely: the availability of each node of this type combining sheet straps and gussets that cover the site with two sides and close the access cavity with all the elements and connections.

This fact, in the modern view, it is not possible to attribute the design of the site together with the superstructure in General to the number of reliable and safe in operation.

Known connections, tubular metal frame, consisting of segments that are connected to the rim, and attached disks (FR 2640301 A1, E 04 1/58 from 15.06.1990).

The design flaws of this node are:

- presence in the important joints welds with low fatigue resistance;

- the presence of fasteners, hidden from unfettered examination of their technical condition during operation to identify arisen in them of fatigue cracks and lesions corrosion;

- the presence of the elements in the design which has an inherent stress concentrators (in particular, sudden changes in cross-sectional area).

The closest analogue to this node is the node metal farm (patent for invention № 2185484 from, 26.06.2000), consisting of segments that are connected to the rim, attached disks, nozzles for attachment of braces, supports and elements n the life of the belt.

The disadvantages of the prototype:

welding - basic weld occurs at the installation;

- welding passes in all positions;

- difficult to identify physical defects by non-destructive methods (radiography, ultrasonic inspection, and others);

it is impossible to adjust the clearance on the installation.

To create a technologically advanced and reliable in the operation of the host metal farm it is proposed to run from two stamped halves which are connected by welds to form the node receiving the force from the attached weld flanges attached to mating flanges of the bars farm detachable clamps. One of the stamped halves node may have a flat surface with holes for connection to the cross bar of the roadway of the bridge.

Forged-welded farm consists of two segments 1 and 2, produced by hot stamping, who welded together the connecting seams uniting these segments into a single monolithic structure. Combining these segments, we obtain a cylindrical pipe, which is welded to the flanges 3 and 4.
