SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for preparing drinks. Proposed pack is closed flexible cartridge providing extraction under pressure and contains powder for preparing drink. Cartridge consists of first and second sheets of round, oval or polygonal form, between which space is left for powder and which are welded to each other along outer edge. First sheet is made of filter paper or nonwoven material. Second sheet is made of filter paper or nonwoven material or composite material. First sheet is made to pass water at atmospheric pressure or when is pierced by means of piercing device, and second sheet is made to pass water only if gauge pressure of 0.1 to 3 bar is built inside cartridge in process of extraction.

EFFECT: improved extraction, preparation of coffee with good foam.

The technical field to which the invention relates.

The present invention relates to a closed flexible cartridge designed for extraction under pressure containing a substance for preparing a beverage selected from the roasted and ground coffee, instant coffee, a mixture of ground and instant coffee, a chocolate product or any other dehydrated edible substance comprising first and second sheet of round, oval or polygonal shape, between which there is space for substances and which are welded together along the outer contour, and the first sheet is made of a material selected from the filter paper, non-woven and semi-rigid material and a second sheet made from a material selected from filter paper, nonwoven and composite material.

The level of technology

Currently on the market you can find closed cartridges drop-down when the pressure increases. Such a cartridge is described in the patent EP 512468; the problem with these cartridges is that to use them you pointed extraction device that pierces the cartridge top, as well as in-depth and elevated elements that allow you to unlock the cartridge from the bottom side, allowing the flow of coffee into the Cup. The invention

The present invention relates to a cartridge for extraction from which you want to apply less expensive and simple device, which, however, allows you to get coffee with a sufficient quantity and good quality remaining on it foam.

The present invention relates to a closed flexible cartridge according to the introductory part of paragraph 1 of the claims, in which the first sheet passes water at atmospheric pressure or at piercing his means of perforations and the second sheet are made so that it skips the water only when the pressure in the extraction process from the specified cartridge will rise to the level of from 0.1 to 3 bar.

Thus, the present invention is directed to a cartridge made of a heterogeneous material surrounding the extracted substance, and it is located between the first and second sheets. The second sheet should hold water for a sufficient time required for hydration and swelling of the grains of coffee; there are such delay provides a good extraction of the coffee and the formation of good foam. The length of the delay depends on the pump water flow, i.e. the degree of pressure increase inside the cartridge. Usually at a pressure of from 1 to 3 bar latency is on the order of one second. Of course, during extraction because of the increased pressure under the second sheet cartridge must be installed in the support plate.

If the cartridge contains coffee, it must be roasted and ground and can be simply placed in the cartridge or can be extruded. The amount of coffee in the cartridge can be from 5 to 10,

If the first sheet is made of filter paper or a nonwoven material, the water will flow in the layer of coffee in the cartridge simply by gravity. On the other hand, if the first sheet is made of semi-rigid material, it is necessary to use the perforations to open the first sheet, for example by using the device according to patent EP 242556. When using filter paper, use paper with a density of 15-30 g/m2and a thickness of from 0.1 to 1 mm When used non-woven material, used non-woven material of polypropylene, polyethylene, polyethylene terephthalate or polyurethane with a density of from 20 to 100 g/m2. When using semi-rigid material, using aluminum with a thickness of 20-100 microns, pure or multi-layer plastic, if necessary, with a layer presented the shining barrier to oxygen, for example, EVOH (copolymer of ethylene/vinyl alcohol) or PVDC (grades), a multilayer film, for example, cardboard, aluminum, plastic or cardboard, plastics, if necessary, with a layer representing a barrier to oxygen, for example, EVOH or PVDC.

In the first embodiment, the second sheet includes a weakened area that opens when the pressure in the cartridge reaches a value of from 0.1 to 3 bar. In the second embodiment, the second sheet is made of filter paper or non-woven fabric with a thick cells permeable to water only at a pressure of from 0.1 to 3 bar. The expression "sufficiently dense cell" should be understood as meaning a low value of permeability to air or water.

In these two embodiments, the first sheet can be made either from the filter paper and non-woven fabric, or may be made of semi-rigid material. In both cases, the cartridge must have an external package, as it is made from materials that do not pose a barrier for oxygen.

In the third embodiment, the Torah sheet made of a composite material aluminum/plastic. The expression "composite material aluminium/plastic" should be understood as meaning the aluminum sheet located on top of a plastic sheet, in which pre-formed incision. Detailed description of the invention

The cartridge (1) figure 1 is a roast and ground coffee (2) Packed between the first sheet (3)made of filter paper and the second sheet (4), also made of filter paper. Figure 2 shows the cartridge (6) with freshly ground and roasted coffee (7), which is Packed between two sheets of non-woven material. Figure 4 shows a cartridge (16) according to a third variant of execution. Ground and roasted coffee (17) Packed between the first rigid sheet made of aluminum (18), and a composite material made of aluminum sheet (19) and the plastic sheet (20), the surface of which is pre-made the cut. Figure 5 shows the cartridge (22) according to the fourth variant execution. Ground and roasted coffee (24) Packed between the rigid sheet (23) and a second sheet made from a layer of filter paper (25) and the cover (26).
