FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: pipe junction comprises ends of pipes that are set one in the other, face plug, slots made in the pipe of greater diameter, and connecting member secured to the pipes by welding. The connecting member is made of a ring member mounted at the end of the pipe of smaller diameter, and the slots in the pipe of greater diameter do not reach the end of the pipe.

EFFECT: enhanced strength and simplified manufacturing of the joint.

Method comes to choosing to choosing of type of welded joint, preparation of edges of metal pipes to be connected by welding, application of protective coating to inner surface of pipes, placing of sealing members, heat insulating and sealing layers on outer surface of sleeve to be installed inside pipes, fitting said sleeve inside pipes and welding. Protective coating is applied to inner surface of pipes at a distance from end faces to form area free from heat stresses in zone of application. Ring nonreinforced and/or reinforced rubber seals are used as sealing members. Protective coating is applied to inner surfaces of cylindrical and conical sections of sleeve. Heat insulating layer is rigidly secured on outer surface of cylindrical section of sleeve between end faces of ring members, and sealing layer is applied to outer surfaces of conical sections of sleeve. Sleeve is installed inside pipes to provide contact between edges of pipes and L-shaped stops or L-shaped ring stop for tight contact between ring nonreinforced and/or reinforced rubber seals, protective coating applied to inner surface of pipes, and faces of ring members and conical sections of sleeve. Welding is carried out by hand and/or automatic method with provision of weld zone whose area exceeds area of normal sections of welded pipes. Welding done, joint is cooled to ambient temperature.

EFFECT: provision of long service of pipelines owing to protection of inner surface of weld from aggressive media.

FIELD: mechanical engineering; pipeline welded joints.

SUBSTANCE: proposed unit contains metal pipes with protective coating applied to their inner surface, sleeve placed inside pipes, ring members, ring nonreinforced and/or reinforced rubber seals, heat insulating material, sealing material, at least three-L-shaped stops uniformly spaced in radial plane or L-shaped ring stop serving for setting centers of masses. L-shaped stops or L-shaped ring stop are arranged on half of sleeve length and are rigidly fixed on its outer surface. Sleeve is provided with cylindrical section and conical sections mating with cylindrical section, expanded and/or mechanically treated by cutting-edge tool. Sleeve is arranged inside pipes so that edges of pipes are in contact with L-shaped stops or L-shaped ring stop. Protective coating is applied to inner surface of pipes at a distance from their end faces to form zone in area of application free from heat stresses. Protective coating is applied also to inner surface of sleeve. Ring members are rigidly secured on outer surface of cylindrical section of sleeve being equally displaced from its end faces. Ring nonreinforced and/or reinforced rubber seals are arranged on outer surface of sleeve between protective coating applied to inner surface of pipes, end faces of ring members and conical sections of sleeve, being held in tight contact with them. Heat insulating material is rigidly secured on outer surface of cylindrical section of sleeve between end faces of ring members, and sealing material is applied to outer surface of sleeve conical sections. Unit is formed by hand and/or automatic welding to get weld joint whose area exceeds area of normal section of pipes.

EFFECT: provision of long service life pipelines owing to protection of inner surface of weld from aggressive media.

FIELD: mechanical engineering; plastic metal working.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to forming of butt welds on pipes, at production of pipe studs and U-shaped bundles using localized hot plastic deformation of weld and adjoining near-weld zones. Preparatory operations are carried out on pipes 1 to be connected. Pipes are assembled with provision of contact at end faces. Intermediate member 2 in form of bushing made of filler material is arranged on outer surface of assembled pipes symmetrically relative to butt. Radial compression force is applied to outer surface of bushing to form contact residual stresses between members to be connected. Bushing material and pipe material are welded to each other. Hot butt is subjected to radial upsetting in mandrel to finally form inner surface of butt joint by mandrelling.

EFFECT: provision of quality butt weld without defects and near-weld zone of required structure and mechanical properties.

FIELD: non-disconnectible pipe joints.

SUBSTANCE: fitting comprises zone for connecting to the pipe provided with one or more radial grooves and diverging space at the end located in the vicinity of the end of the pipe to be squeezed. The diverging space takes the form of the pipe material when it is squeezed under the action of the minimum axial loading on the fitting. The diverging space also has the wall that represents the stop and is used for the locking the pipe in the fitting. The diverging space allows the pipe to be squeezed .

EFFECT: simplified structure.

FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises preparing fiber glass pipes, assembling the pipes, and heating the section near the pipe joint. The end of the first pipe is heated up to 100 - 120°C. The end is expanded with a special tool to provide the socket, and the socket is cooled down to 50°C which provides the end of the second pipe to be set into the socket. The expansion tool is removed, the end of the second pipe is provided with an epoxy adhesive composition and it is set into the socket, and the joint section is heated up to 100 - 120°C.

EFFECT: simplified pipe joining.

FIELD: mechanical engineering; making and repair of permanent joints of steel and polymeric pipes.

SUBSTANCE: proposed permanent joint of pipes includes steel pipe and polymeric pipe with strengthener enclosing working part of steel pipe by its working part, and metal sleeve. Steel pipe is made in form of length of pipe with welded-to mounting ring. End face part of ring, inner surface of length of steel pipe and surface of its working part are provided with polymeric coating. Sleeve is welded to mounting ring. Working part of polymeric pipe with strengthener in form of longitudinal members uniformly spaced over circumference and spiral members wound on with preset putch and welded in places of intersection by tap welding, it welded to polymeric coating of working part of steel pipe section which, in its turn, is welded to steel pipe. Description of method of connection of pipes is provided.

FIELD: pipe line transport; erection of pipe lines provided with internal anti-corrosion coats.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes calibration of ends of pipes over internal diameter to maximum size; then, anti-corrosive coat is applied to internal surfaces of pipes and bushes made from anti-corrosive steel are mounted inside ends of pipe overlapping part of coat; said bushes have sealing layers on their external surfaces. Bushes are secured by flaring with the aid of mandrel till contact with internal surfaces of pipes at negative allowance; pipes are connected by butt welding according to procedure of welding double-layer pipes with internal layer made from corrosion-resistant steel. Sealing layer may be located in circular bore which is open at internal end face of bush or in immediate proximity; it may be applied in form of continuous coat over entire external surface of bush but for zone of thermal effect on outer end arising in the course of welding.

EFFECT: facilitated procedure; low cost of procedure.

FIELD: pipeline transport.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises winding belt made of fiber filler provided with a binder on the ends of pipes to be joined, radial compressing by means of air-tight dies, and polymerizing the belt. After compressing, the belt may be heated. The fiber material may be wound together with the grid made of a conducting material. After winding, the grid is energized for heating the belt throughout the bulk. The fiber filler may be made of fiber glass fabric. Before winding the belt, the ends of the pipes may be provided with the belt made of a flexible sealing material. The device comprises perforated dies which are mounted coaxially with respect to the ends of the pipes to be joined on the belt and are tightened by means of bolts or power cylinders to provide radial pressure.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability.

FIELD: non-disconnectible pipe joints.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises sleeve-like rotary-symmetrical main member that has at least one cylindrical internal space which is provided with gearing means and receives the end of the pipe. The gearing means is pressed radially into the surface of the pipe end under the action on the outer surface of the main member of the squeezing tool. The squeezing tool is composed of pressing ring and pair of squeezing rings arranged coaxially to it and provides exclusively radial displacement.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability of joint.

FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises winding prepreg on the mandrel and setting metallic branch pipes at the ends of the fiber glass pipe. The prepreg is wound on the mandrel at a temperature that provides the binder to be flexible. The end bosses are made on the fiber glass pipe by winding the same prepreg heated up to a temperature allowing the binder to be flexible and a diameter equal to the outer diameter of the section of metallic branch pipes to be wound. The mandrel with the prepreg is then cooled down to the ambient temperature. The outer surface of the end bosses is provided with ring grooves, and the glue is applied on the outer and inner surfaces of the sections of the metallic branch pipes to be wound. The metallic branch pipes are pressed on the end bosses.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability.

SUBSTANCE: reinforcement unit comprises compressed rod, belt and reinforcing side covering plates. The plates are made of angle bars and provided with transversal diaphragms. Side covering plates enclose belt section corners and pass through slots made in compressed rod.

SUBSTANCE: joint connection comprises three-dimensional hollow member to connect rods of triangular grid. The hollow member is solid and defines hexagon. The hollow member has one truncated end. The hollow member comprises support panel made as round plate with U-shaped spaced apart clips fixedly connected to plate along plate perimeter. The clips are adapted for deck panels connection. Triangular three-layered panels are overlapped and connected one to another. Mounting covering strips are connected to ends of all panels so that one strip end is flush with upper rib surface, another strip end is inserted in U-shaped clip.

EFFECT: increased load-bearing capacity of the structure.

SUBSTANCE: joint connection comprises arch member ends with fastening members fixedly connected to arch member ends, cylindrical joint insert with two side covering members connected thereto and tightening bolts. The fastening members are made as pipe cuts. The side covering members are provided with coaxial orifices arranged along a circle. Fastening members pass through the coaxial orifices.

SUBSTANCE: butt-joint comprises tubular rod ends, ribs and tightening bolts. The ribs are inserted in cuts made in tubular rods and connected one to another in crossing areas along the full length thereof. Flanges are spaced from tubular rod ends.

SUBSTANCE: ridge unit comprises adhesive-bonded wooden members, hinge and covering members. Unit is provided with glass-fiber plates defining curvilinear section in plane and glass-fiber semispherical heads arranged in glass-fiber plate centers. Semispherical heads are inserted in depressions made in glass-fiber centering rim. The rim edges are inserted in slots of wooden covering members. Glass fibers in curvilinear plates are oriented along plate height and width of adhesive-bonded wooden member ends. The plates does not project beyond boundaries of above ends.

Connection parts of each member are formed as rimmed orifice having extension and depression with central aperture. Bend is made on one member side. Extension and depression may be shaped as cone, ball or truncated pyramid and formed on one or both member ends. Bolt has a cavity, outer contour of bolt head mates that of inner depression.

Flange is bored at 40° - 50° for the depth of 0.5 - 0.7 of flange thickness and conical flange bore passes into cylindrical one having dimension corresponding to metal connection diameter, which forms fixing clawing funnel. Ratio between inner cartridge diameter and connection member diameter is equal to dc,in/dcm = 1.5 - 2.0, where dc,in is inner cartridge diameter, dcm is metal connection diameter. Wherein resting outline is formed in area of metal cartridge abutment to flange. Resting outline has ledge of not less than 5 mm when connection member diameter is 10 - 30 mm, which prevents shear deformation development, increases squeezing degree and blocks metal connection. Cartridge has length Lc = (10-12)·dcm, which prevents slip of metal connection.
