SUBSTANCE: system has multiple bank note processing devices, for example, bank machines, banks, transporting system, coordinating central station and system for transmission of electronic information about business operations with bank notes and transmitting signals about technical status of equipment, necessary for interaction of components included in system. System makes possible to transport bank notes packed in casings between banking machines, bypassing the bank.

EFFECT: transmission of signals from devices for processing bank notes, signals about technical state of equipment, presence of bank notes and their quality for coordination of operation of all means, providing for bank operations with bank notes.

The scope of the invention

The present invention relates to a banknote processing system of the type defined in the preamble of the main points of the accompanying claims. Briefly, the system includes a number of processing devices banknotes, the number of banks, the coordinating center, the transportation system, the Central Bank and transfer system electronic information and signals.

Summary of invention

In accordance with the invention, a system for processing banknotes containing:

a) many of the banknote processing device designed for insertion and/or distribution of valuable documents, such as banknotes, and for binding and packaging tapes respectively unnecessary bills of acceptable quality, banknotes unacceptable quality and counterfeit banknotes,

b) many banks associated with the banknote processing device, for performing calculation of business operations in the above-mentioned devices.

c) Central coordination site that is designed to receive signals about the need for banknotes, banknotes, Packed in cassettes, about the detected amount of unacceptable quality and possibly fake banknotes from the mentioned devices, the processing of banknotes, and for the direction of the Central coordination node control signals on the basis of the information mentioned in the transport system is mu for the transport of banknotes in these devices the processing of banknotes, and monitoring location notes/tapes, their purpose in each moment of time,

d) a transport system for the necessary transportation of the banknotes between the processing devices banknotes and banks in response to signals about needs in the notes;

one subsystem (1) is designed to transmit information and signals relating to business operations in the above-mentioned processing devices banknotes between them and the banks,

the other subsystem (2) is used to transfer the administrative and technical signals between devices banknote processing, coordinating the Central node, the transport system and the banks.

In this system the banknote processing

- referred to another subsystem (2) has two separate subsystems, of which the third technical subsystem (21) is designed for transmitting signals maintenance required for the nodes included in the banknote processing system, and

fourth administrative subsystem (22) is designed to transfer administrative signals regarding the data required for the current flow of banknotes in the banknote processing system.

Thus, stated since the system is designed for separation of electronic and information signals into two mutually separate subsystem, of which

one subsystem involves the transfer of information and signals that relate to business operations and are based on business transactions, for example, the processing of banknotes, between banks on the one hand, and the masses and businessmen, on the other hand, in relation to their actions in the banknote processing system; at the same time

the other subsystem involves the transfer of a purely administrative and technical signals required for the necessary interaction between the different elements, for example, the focal point of vehicles, devices, processing of banknotes - banks, banknote processing.

Brief description of preferred implementations

The invention will now be described in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which figure 1 is a schematic illustration of a transmission system of digital information and signals, and figure 2 provides an overview of the elements included in the system.

Figure 1 shows two (101and 10n) many (number (n) of the banknote processing device type TSS 2000. Each device has the appropriate designations: Deposit/withdrawal 31, sorting quality 32 single cassette 33, the protective unit 34, device statistics 35, error messages 36, processing with error 37 suspected counterfeit 38, information is the situation about storing banknotes 39. These designations are clear enough to enable the invention to be fully understood on the principles without the need for additional explanations.

The transfer of the necessary information and signals from the first three parts (the farthest to the left) refers to the business activities and has its core business operations, such as the processing of banknotes, between banks on the one hand, and the masses and businessmen, on the other hand, in regard to their action in the processing of banknotes.

Transmission is purely administrative and technical signals that are required of the other six parts, refers to the interaction between the different elements, for example, the focal point is cars, devices, processing of banknotes - banks and the Central Bank - banks, banknote processing.

Data purely business operations usually require fast connections. For example, when a person identifies with (him/her) with your (his/her) card cash, credit cards and the like, it is necessary for the Bank to quickly assess the identity of the referred person that requires a fast data connection. This subsystem 1 flow of information marked "business operations" in figure 1.

Transmission is purely administrative and technical signals, such as, for example, the statistics give the tion and error messages, certainly does not require the same speed and, therefore, can be performed using a slower gear, such as phone connections/fuel (global mobile network). This subsystem 2 information flow (the second subsystem) labeled "data logistics and technical data" in figure 1.

In practice were identified to carry out the separation of the second subsystem, in turn, into two separate subsystems, of which the technical third subsystem 21 includes the transfer of technical signals for the required maintenance in the nodes included in the Bank processing system, for example, serving the transportation system, and administrative fourth subsystem 22, which involves the transfer of administrative signals for the desired/required information relative to the current flow of banknotes in the banknote processing system, for example, optimization of flows of banknotes, the control over quality of banknotes and so on, on behalf of the Central Bank, for example, the Bank of Sweden and organs police.

The nodes that can be included in the inventive system will now be described briefly with reference to figure 2.

A number of processing devices banknotes or ATMs 11, 12, 13, 14,... is located in a limited geographic area for the insertion and distribution of banknotes. The devices communicate with a Central coordination node 10, which receives the information from these devices and sends the information and control signals in the above-mentioned device, and this information includes the actual information regarding the availability of the stored banknotes and banknotes, Packed in cassettes, as well as the relatively banknotes detected unacceptable quality, as well as banknotes suspected false.

The system also includes a transport system from a variety of vehicles 18, 19, 20, 21 for transportation of banknotes, Packed in a cassette in the device 11...1n and device in response to a command from the information center 10, depending on the information submitted from the device in the center.

Figure 2 also indicates two banks 16, 17, which may be the owners of devices, and are responsible for the mentioned devices in each respective area limited geographical area. The primary responsibility of the Association rests with the Central Bank 15 (Bank of Sweden). Because each device, each vehicle transport system, each Bank safe used together with the transport means for transporting cassettes/banknotes between different nodes, and each person acting in the system, can be assigned to individual data (code), the Central node has a control/knowledge of where banknotes/cassette, and their purpose in each moment of time. This provides a very high degree of safety of the new, simplified and low cost of modern system of banknote processing.

(e) a system for the transmission of electronic information processing devices banknotes having two mutually separate subsystems, one subsystem (1) is designed to transmit information and signals relating to business operations in the above-mentioned processing devices banknotes between them and the banks, the other subsystem (2) is used to transfer the administrative and technical signals between devices banknote processing, coordinating the Central node, the transport system and the banks.

Bank notes received by machine and estimated as legitimate, can be returned to circulation and given out to other users. Bank notes estimated by machine as having doubtful origin, may be marked with removable mark and subjected to additional analysis. Checks processed by machine may be displayed by displaying device, cancelled and stored in machine or returned to user. Documents created by machine like receipts, checks or payment orders, and also bank notes given out by machine, may be gathered in stack inside the machine and given out from machine through a slit.

EFFECT: engineering of device configured for performing various transactions, including those for processing a stack of documents from client or to client, for checking legitimacy of documents with marking of suspicious, unacceptable documents.

FIELD: servicing of bank automats' customers.

SUBSTANCE: when customer uses bankomat to put money, the amount of money is transferred to his/her account automatically to customer's account in central bank. Banknotes are kept in storage unit of bankomat as property of central bank; the calculation of percentage to mentioned amount of money is stopped. If customer takes banknotes from bankomat, the mentioned amount is subtracted from his/her account in the bank. Mentioned amount is deducted by electronic method from account in central bank, and then mentioned amount is transferred from decentralized property of central bank to property of customer. Decentralized procedure of processing of banknotes is created, which procedure doesn't need repetitions and transportation of banknotes, which operations are characteristic for centralized procedure of processing of banknotes.

EFFECT: creation of decentralized procedure of processing of money.

FIELD: engineering of banknote processing devices.

SUBSTANCE: in accordance to invention, device contains intelligent system of banknote container with a card, carrying a code for identification of the banknote processing device. Banknote information includes data of banknotes, received in storage chamber of stacking device, and is transferred from control circuit to intelligent storage. Intelligent storage maintains connection with control circuit of authentication device for receiving code information and banknote information from storage device and storing this information in intelligent storage. Code information identifies banknote processing device, from which stacking means is removed, and banknote information allows comparison of a total of collected banknotes in a set of stackers to a total of banknotes recognized as authentic and stored in stacking device.

EFFECT: comparison of a total of collected banknotes in multiple stacking devices to a total of banknotes, recognized as authentic and preserved in stacking means, by non-contact connection to information collection device.

FIELD: automated methods for processing large amounts of banknotes, possible use in machines for sorting banknotes.

SUBSTANCE: in accordance to the method, banknote stacks and information cards are fed into banknote sorting machine, cards and banknotes are identified, resulting images are processed by means of pre-installed computer program, while setting of operation modes of sorting machine and input of additional data for analysis is performed automatically in real time by reading information from cards accompanying the banknotes by means of scanning devices, while information on the card is provided in form of printed form or handwritten text, resulting images of banknotes and cards are processed by means of program for optical recognition of symbols.

EFFECT: provision of automated method for setting operation modes of sorting machine and for inputting information into machine, and also reduction of stress on operator during operation due to abolished manual input of data and switching of modes by operator.

FIELD: banking machines for dispensing sheets of financial documents to users of machines.

SUBSTANCE: machine includes user interface which contains device for reading credit cards, aperture of receipt printer, aperture for dispensing cash and aperture for receiving deposits, catching element is meant for separating one banknote from a stack of banknotes, inserted into machine, non-contact and contact rollers of sheet-dividing element ensure movement of mainly one banknote. Sheet-dividing elements may be driven to move jointly caught banknotes relatively to banknote which interacts with sheet-separating element, to change position of banknotes and to simplify separation of banknote for future catching attempts.
