Mix is completed with filler in the form of organic or inorganic naturally occurring or man-made substances. Briquetting is effected on either vibration or press equipment. Coke briquette contains 60 to 95% of above-defined off-grade coke and 5 to 40 % of binder. Size of thus manufactured briquettes corresponds to required sieve composition of coke.

EFFECT: enabled full restoration of all fractions of needless process coke residues to useful sieve composition appropriate for fabrication of environmentally safe briquettes with improved consumer's properties without considerable investments.

The present invention relates to a method for producing solid fuel from off-spec coke used in steel industry, for example in the smelting of iron and steel, as well as for domestic use.

There is a method of producing fuel briquettes from a mixture of powdered solid fuel from a group of vegetable waste and coke breeze and a binder from the group comprising lignosulfonate, mellas, taly peck, or a mixture thereof. The disadvantage of this method of producing coke briquettes is that for the production of fuel briquettes using coke breeze fractions 0-6 mm, i.e. do not use all of the fraction nonconforming coke breeze. To obtain fuel the briquettes from the claimed mixtures require very significant costs (high temperature heat treatment and pressure entail a large power consumption) to ensure optimal consumer properties of the obtained solid fuel.

The technical objectives of the invention are the full recovery of all factions unclaimed technological residues of different varieties of coke to the desired sieve composition and production of ecologically pure coke briquettes with improved consumer properties, i.e. with sufficient strength, ash content, density, calorific value and reactionary abilities, without significant capital expenditures.

The task is achieved by the fact that in the recovery method of the sieve coke composition comprising a mixture of nonconforming coke with a binder in the form of cement, hydration, briquetting the mixture, followed by heat treatment, cooling, according to the invention as nonconforming coke use coke breeze fraction 0-10 mm and/or coke walnut fraction 10-25 mm of certain varieties, mixed with a binder in the following ratio of ingredients, wt.%: coke breeze or coke nut - 60-95, binder - 5-40, to add moisture to 35% of water relative to the weight of the mixture, heat treatment is carried out by steam, Hledat at ambient temperature to a residual moisture content of up to 5%.
