The present invention is to develop a material that is designed for the rapid analysis of liquid hydrocarbon fuel having a high sensitivity in the detection of emulsion water, even in small quantities.

The problem is solved by the described indicator of the quality of liquid hydrocarbon fuel, which contains the filter material impregnated with a chemical reagent, while the filter material is made of two bonded layers, each of which is made from a mixture of ultra-thin perchlorovinyl fibers, d is amerom 5-9 μm and 0.5 to 1.2 ICC when this first layer as a chemical reagent contains hexacyanoferrate (II), and the second layer is a mixture of potassium hexacyanoferrate (II) and potassium hexacyanoferrate (III).
