SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of radial-ply tyres for trucks. Proposed tyre casing contains tread, breaker, carcass, side strips and bead rings. Diameter of metal cord is from 1.14 to 1.26 mm. Metal cord proper is made of equal-diameter metal threads, ratio of metal thread diameter to diameter of metal cord being from 0.253 to 0.298. Ratio of breaker metal cord pitch to diameter of metal cord is from 1.9 to 2.25, and linear density of metal cord lies within 5.0 and 5.5 g/m. Ratio of thickness of each rubber-lined layer of metal cord in breaker to diameter of metal cord is from 0.35 to 1.49, breaking strength of metal cord being not lower than 1715±5N.

EFFECT: reduced materials usage, labour input and energy consumption at production of tyres.

The invention relates to the field of automobile tires, in particular, to the design truck radial tires.

Known truck radial tires, containing the skeleton of the rubber cord and breaker of rubber-steel cord protector and side rings (Author's certificate of the USSR No. 1028532, CL 60 With 9/00, No. 1593979, CL 60 With 9/00, No. 1298100, CL 60 With 9/00; RF Patents №2048991, CL 60 With 9/20, No. 2013216, CL 60 With 9/20, No. 2088424, CL 60 With 9/20). A disadvantage of the known constructions tires pneumatic tire is low efficiency, increased intensity and complexity of their manufacture.

The closest technical solution is the tire radial truck tyres, manufactured by RF Patent No. 2032548, CL 60 With 9/20, publ. 10.04.1995, BI No. 10. This tire pneumatic tires of radial structure contains the protector, belt, carcass, sidewall, side rings.

The disadvantage of the prototype is a result of increased consumption, energy intensity and complexity of manufacturing the pneumatic tyre.

The technical result of the invention is the reduction of material, labour and energy intensity of manufacturing a pneumatic tyre through weight reduction broker, while maintaining the overall health of pneumatic tires.

The implementation of the present invention will reduce the weight of the broker tires by 3%, reduce the complexity of manufacturing broker 3% and energy intensity of manufacturing the tread of the tires by 4% compared to the prototype.

Thus, the invention allows to reduce materialcost, labour and energy cost of production of tyres pneumatic tyres while maintaining the overall health of the bus.

A case contains tread, breaker consisting of metal-cord and textile layers, casing, sidewalls and bead rings. Metal cord diameter is 0.77-0.85 mm. The metal cord itself is made of metal fibers with equal diameter, and the ratio of metal fiber to metal cord diameter is 0.330-0.410. The ratio of metal cord in rubber-covered breaker layer to metal cord is 2.057-2.743, and linear density of metal cord lays within the range of 2.12-2.34 g/m. Herewith, the thickness of each rubber-covered metal cord layer in breaker is 1.25-1.45 mm, and tensile strength of metal cord is not lower than 875±5 N.
