Card with a chip having a contact area, and a method of manufacturing such a card with chip

(57) Abstract:

The invention relates to a card with a chip contact area, the region has suffered a conductive varnish, and the varnish can be painted. Thereby the contact area itself may serve as a carrier of information, if the conductive lacquer is reproduced, for example, the logo of the manufacturer microchip cards. The technical result - the creation of cards with chip and method of its manufacture, providing long-term reliable operation of the card. This problem is solved in accordance with the invention by the fact that the lacquer is performed on the basis of synthetic material, has its own conductivity. 4 S. and 2 C.p. f-crystals.

The invention relates to a card with a chip having a contact area, and in the field of surface area deposited conductive lacquer.

Cards with microchips has long been known and are used, for example, as a means of payment, particularly in telephone systems for General use or as identification cards.

Cards with microchips are usually integrated circuit, which can be accessed via El kelaa the x contacts which are electrically isolated from each other.

It is known that the contact area applied with a conductive varnish, and the varnish can be painted. Thereby the contact area itself can serve as a carrier of information, if, for example, by using conductive lacquer imprinted logo (the symbol of group identity cards), manufacturer microchip cards.

Conductive varnish when it is in plain varnish, which contains conductive particles. It is known that in the case of black lacquer is applied carbon.

The above well-known cards with microchips have the disadvantage that the lacquer surface area is subjected to considerable wear due to mechanical abrasion. In addition, often the electrically conductive particles are oxidized, so that the resistance when the access to the contact area increases so much that is not already guaranteed flawless functioning of such cards with chip. When this card becomes rough, matte and thus unattractive.

From European patent EP 0340421 A2-known conductive lacquer, which contains salt on onok contains surfactant and silicone oil and/or other substances such as acetal, ester and siloxane.

In French patent 2671417 A1 describes a method of manufacturing a memory card according to which is applied a dielectric layer of varnish on an integrated circuit, except for the areas of the contacts. Then on the contacts of the read/write is applied conductive lacquer, which is covered by a dielectric layer of varnish.

The objective of the invention is to provide a card with the chip of the above type, and method of its manufacture, providing long-term reliable operation of the card.

This task is solved in accordance with the characteristics outlined in paragraphs 1-7 of the claims.

In accordance with the invention, for coating the contact area using a conductive synthetic material that has its own conductivity, such as polyacrylonitrile, and the characteristics of this material, as having "its own conductivity" means that the synthetic material is conductive itself, without requiring additives to it additional conductive particles. Such varnishes are distinguished by good adhesion to the materials traditionally used to perform contact poverkhnostplus, in particular, non-conductive pigments. Using similar pigmentation can be almost any color, and with the use of suitable pigments can be made luminous colors that are impossible to implement in the case known from the prior art cards with microchips. For example, due to the green color used in accordance with the invention, polyacrylonitrile can be especially easy to get the shades of green.

Furthermore, by appropriate selection of the components of the lacquer, you can ensure the quality of the surface corresponding to the invention of cards with sufficient hardness so that the wear due to mechanical abrasion was observed in a very small extent.

In accordance with the invention can also be used electroconductive lacquer with conductive particles which are covered with synthetic material, with its own conductivity. So as electrically conductive particles can be used, for example, silver particles. When fully saturated conductive particles of a synthetic material that has its own conductivity, facilitates the creation of patent cont the AET application of synthetic material, has its own conductivity to the coating surface area, in particular, microchip cards. In accordance with the invention, a synthetic material that has its own conductivity, to which is added, in particular, a non-conductive pigment, can also be used for coating other contact surfaces.

Finally, the invention relates to a method of manufacturing a card with a chip that includes the following steps:

ensuring microchip cards,

varnishing the surface area of the specified card,

moreover, the intervals between the individual contacts of the contact zone are covered by the template,

and characterized in that the coating produced with the use of varnish on the basis of synthetic material, has its own conductivity. Thus, in the method corresponding to the invention, ensures the contacts, and prevents a short circuit between the individual contacts.

Using a method corresponding to the invention, can be produced cards with microchips with great durability and protection from wear due to mechanical abrasion.

Thus, with the e surface for advertising, moreover, the decoding of the contact surfaces is carried out while maintaining their functional properties. Directly on the contact plane of the microchip cards, made of gold or silver, can be coated with colored symbols, logos, etc. continued for long periods of time and different expressiveness run. While the variety of colors, as opposed to cards, known from the prior art, it is not limited, in particular, can be made cards with bright colors.

1. Card with a chip that contains the surface area, electrically conductive lacquer applied to the area mentioned surface area, these conductive lacquer contains a synthetic material that has its own conductivity and containing polyacrylonitrile, and pigments are added in the above-mentioned electrically conductive lacquer.

2. The card with the chip under item 1, characterized in that the pigments are non-conductive.

3. Card with a chip that contains the contact area, electroconductive lacquer applied to the area mentioned surface area, and mentioned electroconductive lacquer contains conductive particles, FOB the manufacture of microchip cards, contains the following steps: providing a card with a chip having contact with the contacts and the intervals between the individual contacts, covering the gaps between these separate contacts mentioned the surface area of the template, causing the contact area to be covered by the pattern intervals of varnish on the basis of synthetic material, has its own conductivity and containing polyacrylonitrile, to which is added pigments.

5. The method according to p. 4, characterized in that the pigments are non-conductive.

6. A method of manufacturing a card with a chip that contains the following steps: providing a card with a chip having contact with the contacts and the intervals between the individual contacts, covering the gaps between these separate contacts mentioned the surface area of the template, and varnishing surface area electroconductive lacquer containing conductive particles, lacquered on the basis of synthetic material, has its own conductivity.
