The invention relates to the field of creation of antifriction materials based on pressure-treated wood and can be used in mechanical engineering. The purpose of the invention is the improvement of wear resistance and durability of the material at elevated operating temperatures. Modified wood for the manufacture of parts contains friction pressed wood, ceresin, polyethylene, polyethylsiloxane and Aerosil. A certain combination of components provides improved wear resistance and durability of the material at elevated operating temperatures. table 2.

The invention relates to the field of antifriction materials based on modified wood and can be used in mechanical engineering.

Known antifriction pressed wood, containing the pressed wood and ceresin (SU authorship, 360222, CL 27 To 3/34, 29 j 1/02, 1972 ), which is not a high friction properties, which causes increased wear of the mating parts (shaft). This is due to the fact that ceresin, consisting of non-polar hydrocarbons, when paired with metal clicks the material based on wood, impregnated with a composition containing mineral oil, polyethylene of low pressure and tars oils and technical fats (SU authorship, 1117217, CL 27 To 3/34, 27 To 3/52, 1983).

The disadvantage of this wood are low hardness and compressive strength, which affects the wear resistance of the material.

Closest to the proposed invention the technical nature of the effect is achieved is modified wood for the manufacture of friction parts, containing the pressed wood, ceresin and surfactants, for example fatty acids (SU authorship 444646, CL 27 To 3/24, 29 j 1/02, 1972).

However, such modified wood has low friction properties at elevated temperatures. At temperatures above 80oWith melting occurs mixture of ceresin and fatty acids and intensive removal of the filler from the zone of friction, resulting in the bearing quickly loses efficiency.

The purpose of the invention is the improvement of wear resistance and durability of the material at elevated operating temperatures.

This goal is achieved due to the fact that modify the nutrient contains polyethylene, polyethylsiloxane and are presented in the following ratio, wt. %:

Molded wood - 78,8 - 88,0

Ceresin - 7,0 - 20,0

Polyethylene - 0,5 - 2,0

Polyethylsiloxane - 0,5 - 2,0

Aerosil - 0,2 - 1,0

The introduction of a mixture of polyethylene, Aerosil and polyethylsiloxane in the melt of ceresin promotes the formation on the surface of the wood adsorption of the boundary layer having high heat resistance and mechanical strength.

Receipt of offer of modified wood for the manufacture of parts of friction is as follows.

In a container with a melt of ceresin and polyethylene at a temperature of 145oWith the added mixture of Aerosil in polyethylsiloxane. After that, the mixture of the four components were mixed. Samples of pressed wood with a density of 1100 kg/m3and with sizes 202060 mm with a moisture content of 1.6% was placed in a container with a modifying composition. Then the container with the samples were placed in the autoclave was closed the lid, creating in it a pressure of 5.0 MPa and kept under pressure during 5,0 minutes then impregnated samples were removed from the autoclave.

To obtain the modified wood was preparing five samples mater what parts manufacturing friction with different content of pressed wood and antifriction fillers.

It is established that the introduction of modified wood for the manufacture of friction parts, including pressed wood and ceresin, optionally, polyethylene, polyethylsiloxane and Aerosil contributes to the improvement of physico-mechanical properties and, consequently, increase durability and wear resistance of the material.

The content in the modified wood of ceresin provides a low coefficient of friction to temperatures of 80-100oWith and attached to the wood sufficiently high hardness.

The presence of polyethylsiloxane increases moisture and water resistance, heat resistance.

The presence of the modified wood polyethylene provides a low coefficient of friction.

The addition of Aerosil increases the hydrophobicity of the surface of the wood, increases the hardness and heat resistance of the friction surface.

Physico-mechanical properties of modified wood, obtained in accordance with examples 1-5 (see table 1), are shown in table 2.

The analysis of the examples of table 2 shows that the proposed modified wood (composition according to examples 2, 3, 4) has the highest tribological characteristics by increasing the durability exh">
