(57) Abstract:

The invention relates to a solid fuel of iron-rich pellets and can be used in thermal power plants and thermal power plants for the economic production of clean energy. Essence: metalized pellets containing not less than 80 wt.% metallic iron, is placed in a closed volume, filling them no less than 3/4 of the volume, the pressure inside the closed volume set not less than 1 MPa, carry out heat treatment of iron-rich pellets in a closed volume stream of air heated to 260 - 400oC, before heating the iron-rich pellets to a temperature of 1200-1400oC, followed by the burning of DRI pellets by blowing them with a stream of oxygen. The method of use of solid fuels provides an order of magnitude higher duration of burning, environmentally friendly, and waste reduction technological cycle in its application, additionally ensures its effectiveness.

The invention relates to energy, in particular to a solid fuel of iron-rich pellets and can be used in the national economy in thermal power plants and teploelektrotsent opleve high-sulfur coal by heat treatment at a temperature of 370-390oC for 15-20 min when the air supply in termosistem layer to obesserivaniya coal and subsequent burning it with calcium maintenanced additive (at a temperature of 850oC) [1], which provides a total reduction of emissions of sulphur into the atmosphere to 95-98%.

The disadvantage of this method is its low heat capacity, leading to increased consumption of fuel per unit of energy produced. Released during the combustion of a large amount of smoke, soot degrade the environment.

There is a method of using carbon solid fuel, in which a solid fuel with high sulfur content is introduced into a closed volume (reactor), which serves heated air and the reaction occurs between the solid fuel and heated air at a controlled temperature, for example, 1200-1400oC, and speed to ensure 35-60% gasification of fuels with low sulphur content and the subsequent filing it in the power plant [2].

The disadvantage of this method are the low heat capacity of combustion and low combustion time of fuel.

The closest is the way to use solid fuel of iron-rich pellets, containing at least the ri burning DRI pellets develops a temperature of from several hundred to several thousand degrees - up to 4000oC [3].

This method allows the use of metalized pellets as a solid fuel is not sufficient to efficiently and economically.

Object of the invention is the use of solid fuel of iron-rich pellets, allowing you to use high efficiency - significant increase in the duration of combustion, economical and ecological purity.

This task is achieved by the fact that the metalized pellets containing not less than 80 wt.% metallic iron, is placed in a closed volume, filling them no less than 3/4 of the volume, the pressure inside the closed volume set not less than 1 MPa, carry out heat treatment of iron-rich pellets in a closed volume stream of air heated to a temperature of 260 - 400oC, before heating the iron-rich pellets to a temperature of 1200 - 1400oC, followed by the burning of DRI pellets with additional blowing their stream of oxygen. Burning iron-rich pellets takes place at a temperature that reaches from a few hundred to a few thousand degrees.

The essential features of the proposed method are the following:

the effect to establish not less than 1 MPa;

heat treatment of iron-rich pellets in a confined space to carry 1200 -1400oC air jet;

a stream of air heated to a temperature of 260 - 400oC,

burning carried out by blowing oxygen at the combustion temperature, reaching 4000oC.

An example implementation of the method.

Metalized pellets, which have a chemical composition, wt.%:

Iron (Fe) total - 91,4

Iron (Fe) metal - 88,4

Carbon (C) - 1,69

Calcium oxide (CaO) - 1,6

Silica (SiO2) - 4,0

Aluminum oxide (Al2O3) - 0,28

Magnesium oxide (MgO) - 0,26

Manganese oxide (MnO) - 0,035

Impurity - Rest.

The main physical characteristics of iron-rich pellets:

The average size of DRI pellets 5-20 mm,

Strength is 100 kg/pellet

Bulk density of 1.8 and 2.1 t/m3< / BR>
Metalized pellets are placed in a closed volume - boiler EP-670-13, 8-545 W (TPE-216) and fill them 3/4 grate furnace volume, the pressure within which is set to 1.5 MPa.

Are blowing pellets stream of air, preheated to a temperature of 360oC, which is determined based on the time during which n is t for 7-8 h, then stop the air supply and are blowing their stream of oxygen. Since the start of ignition of the pellets within 30 h of the combustion of the pellets takes place at a temperature of about 4000oC. After which the combustion temperature is reduced to 1000-1300oC and maintained for 400-500 h while there has been a steady combustion process, the flame burning - bright yellow with a bluish tint. without smoke and soot. After 500 hours of burning pellets to stop burning pour water in the ratio of 1:2 by volume.

After burning DRI pellets formed of oxidized ore, suitable for use as raw materials in a number of metallurgical processes.

The method of use of solid fuels in comparison with the previously known methods is a highly efficient and economical, for comparison, for example, if the boiler EP-670-13,8-545 W (TPE-216) to work within five days requires about 20,000 tons of brown coal, to obtain the same result should 30-40 tons of DRI pellets. Preliminary assessment shows that during the year the boiler with grate combustion device used up to 5000 tons of iron-rich pellets instead of 2,000,000 tons of coal (fuel oil). In comparison with the prototype before the, is also at the same prototype of the volume of DRI pellets in order to increase the duration of burning.

The method of use of solid fuels also, very importantly, is environmentally friendly, and waste reduction technological cycle in its application, manifested in the absence of harmful combustion products and the accumulation of useless residues, further ensures the feasibility of its application. The transition to a new way of use of solid fuels in power plants industrial and utility enhances the introduction of resource-saving technologies of energy production and obtain significant economic effect.

The practical implementation of the invention based on the use of existing energy equipment and doesn't require additional upgrade (boiler with grate combustion device) or requires minor upgrades (for large capacity boilers with nozzles).

The method of use of solid fuel of iron-rich pellets containing not less than 80 wt.% metallic iron, based on their combustion in a closed obyemnaya not less than 3/4 volume, the level of pressure within the volume set is not less than 1 MPa, before blowing oxygen to carry out heat treatment of iron-rich pellets stream of air heated to 260 - 400oWith, within the time required until the temperature of the DRI pellets 1200 - 1400oC.

FIELD: reworking 0f domestic and industrial wastes town dumps.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in profiling the dump territory in the course of accumulation, excavation and sorting-out of garbage at simultaneous separation of scrap metal, stones and incombustible building wastes. After profiling the territory, dump is divided into technological sites which are covered with peat (and sawdust if available).
