In compliance second version, aforesaid clearance accommodates intermediate case to form, with inner case, an annular cooling water feed while, with outer case, a cooling water discharge channel. Note here that said channels are intercommunicated via openings for water crossflow in coke loading zone.

SUBSTANCE: cooling method of calcinated coke in a rotary-type cooler involves supply of cooling water to space between external hollow casing 1 of the cooler and heat-exchange internal casing 2 on the end face from the side of unloading opening 7, its movement along the heat-exchange internal casing 2 and entry to outlet pipe 4 of heat-exchange internal casing along the cooler casing axis on opposite side with further removal also on the side of unloading opening 7 above central part of end face 5 of the rotary-type cooler by means of a water removal device. The water removal device is installed at the outlet of outlet pipe 4 and consists of casing 8 with water lifting neck 9 located above central part of end face 5 or the rotary-type cooler and interconnected with water outlet pipe 10 connected to the water removal pipe for cooling 12.
EFFECT: invention allows improving the contact of cooling liquid with heat exchange surface of the cooler internal casing, improving heat removal efficiency of calcinated coke, decreasing thermomechanical loads and enlarging operating life by 5-7 times.

Refrigerator loading opening side 3 has intake chamber 8 arranged coaxially inside inner housing 2 with circular space 12 there between. Water discharge assy 9 arranged at intake chamber outlet 8.
EFFECT: lower thermomechanical load, 3-5 times longer life.

SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to rotary coke coolers and may be used in oil refining industry at oil coke baking installations. The rotary coke cooler is designed as a heat exchanger of double pipe type and includes charge 15 and discharge 18 hoppers supported by roller stations 23, drum 8, drive 29 and cooling water inlet 5 and outlet 6 unions. Tube side 1 is made as a fixed cylindrical two-post boiler 2 filled with pressurised return cooling water. Tubular annulus 7 filled with coke is formed by external surface 2 of the above boiler and internal surface of the drum 8 mounted around it with open ends and fixed, for example, welded inside screw (helical-screw) blades 13 and radially-oriented flat blade ledges 14. Drum 8 is designed to rotate and transport of cooled coke contacting with external surface of the boiler 2.
EFFECT: invention allows increasing efficiency of the cooler, simplifying design and ensuring usage of return water for process and domestic needs.

The rotating reel is made of sections, which are assembled from two sub-sections, formed of three or more serially interconnected lateral sides of the isosceles trapezoids and isosceles triangles, whose bases are disposed in the subsections in different directions. Sections are interconnected through large bases of the trapezoids, and the subsections are connected to the section so that the bases of isosceles triangles one subsection connected to the upper base of the isosceles trapezoids of the second subsection, and the bases of isosceles triangles second subsection connected to the upper base of the isosceles trapezoids of the first sub-section to form on the inner perimeter directed meet each other three or more polygonal right and left helical lines, as well as the domestic three or more helical grooves with the same pitch. A wave-like spring with the flat section of turns is provided as well as a device to adjust the turn of the pitch by stretching or compressing the spring.

The drum is mounted in sections serially connected with each other along the length of the drum through their end openings in the form of polygons. Each section is made up of two subsections, the first subsection around the perimeter assembled from an even number of at least four identical first isosceles triangles, the sides of which are alternately connected with the lateral sides of at least four identical second isosceles triangles which bases are greater than the base of the first four isosceles triangles, with formation of small and large end openings shaped as polygons, the second subsection is assembled from at least four identical equilateral triangles alternately connected along the perimeter with sides equal to the bases of the second isosceles triangles of the first sub-section, with the sides of at least four identical isosceles triangles with a 90° apex angle with the formation of small and large end openings shaped as polygons, where the big end opening shaped as the polygon of the first subsection is equal to the small end opening shaped as the polygon of the second subsection. The subsections are coupled together into sections through their end openings in the form of polygons. Along the whole length of the drum a conical spring with turns is mounted and equipped with a device for changing its pitch by tension or compression. Its turn direction is opposite to the direction of drum rotation and its taper matches with the taper of the drum.

SUBSTANCE: coke cooler comprises a water bath (1) mounted therein a rotating drum (2), a coke loading tool (3) and a coke dumping tool (4). Drum (2) is made of three or more bands of trapezoidal shape with different dimensions in width with increasing length. On strips alternately from opposite sides at an angle of 60° to the strips axis, zones are made of weakened cross section in the form of cuts with sloping walls forming across the perimeter of drum (2) of circular polygonal surfaces from alternately arranged equilateral and isosceles triangles. The strips are twisted in longitudinal direction relative to their longitudinal axis and curved in the transverse direction along a helical line on the tapered mandrel to form, across the drum perimeter, three or more helical lines and helical surfaces. Along the whole length of drum (2), a conical spring is mounted with turns plain section which is equipped with a device for modifying the turning pitch by tension or compression. Its turning direction is opposite to the direction of drum rotation, and its taper does not match the drum taper.

The drum is made of sections, assembled from two identical sub-sections, assembled from the even number of minimum 4 identical isosceles triangles, which are alternately connected along the subsection perimeter with 4 identical equilateral triangles with formation of small and large end face polygonal holes. In the section two subsections are joined to each other by sides of larger end face holes, and the sections are joined to each other along the length of the drum by their sides of small end face holes with formation of multiturn screw drum with directed to each other broken screw lines. The spring of a waveform with flat section of coils is mounted over the total drum length, which is equipped with device to change the pitch of turns by stretching or compressing it, at that the direction of the spring coils of waveform coincides with the direction of rotation of the drum.

SUBSTANCE: coke cooling plant contains a water bath, a rotating drum installed therein, the means for clinker loading and unloading. The rotary drum is designed as installed obliquely at the angle α relatively to the cylinder horizontal axis with end walls of the elliptical shape, at that the end wall at the loading device is flat and installed at the angle ψ to the drum rotation axis, and the end wall at the loading device is placed at the angle β to the drum rotation axis and made conical at that the angle β is not equal to the angle ψ. The cylinder spring of the waveform with round cross-sections of coils is mounted along the entire length of the drum, and the direction of the coils coincides with the direction of the drum rotation, which is equipped with the device for pitch changing by its stretching or compressing.
EFFECT: increase of the cooling efficiency, the simplification of the structure assembly.

The drum is made of strips of a concave curved shape with side edges described curves of different order and degree of curvature, folded on the concave mandrel in longitudinal and transverse direction to form the edges of curved shape, with each adjacent faces curved at an obtuse angle to one another with the outer and the inner side bands concave curved form with the side edges of the described curves of different order and degree of curvature, and cross each other to form a smooth spiral line main direction on the outer surface and smooth helical grooves on the inner surface of the concave shape of the reel, as well as smooth helical lines the outer surface of the opposite direction and the opposite smooth helical grooves inside the concave-shaped reel. Along full length of the barrel a cone spring with flat cross-section of turns is provided as well as with a device to adjust the turn pitch by the spring tensioning or compression.
